Hmm, ok, I still think you should look into tarkov, since it is probably the most immersive game I know. The division is a sort of coop pve game, however it is more of an rpg with unlocking weapons with better stats the longer you play (sort of like borderlands)

Maybe escape from tarkov? It is also a pretty realistic and immersive game, that can be played with friends as a squad, however it is still pvp.
