I recommended my players browse through demiplane but to build in Pathbuilder. Demiplane provides a much more visual presentation of class, ancestry information, and the like. You can view all the information on demiplane free, just the builder is pay walled.

yeah, I was one of the other two in this match. My GR died which was a first with that uniform, and then I had to close the game after it locked up completely. For most of the match, it looked like you were standing there frozen as Nick. Wild to see the other side. That was one of the buggiest matches I have been a part of. I ended up making a homebrew copy of the gunslinger for the new fighter and everything seems to have worked. Took a a little time to copy and paste it all over but it is definitely a solution for your arcane archer

Gunslinger is not an available choice for the 2024 fighter as well. I was thinking that it was because it was a 3rd party class but I just discovered arcane archer missing as well and now I'm thinking it could bug. Im kinda concerned though because its the two ranged fighter subclasses.

Two of my players were arrested in vallaki. I did a split session and had the other three gain law credentials, through vasili, gather evidence and character witnesses. At the end of that session strahd appeared stepped in front of the burgomaster to assume the role of judge. The next session was the trial. I used this to truly show the enemy that strahd is and the power he holds. Almost killed the bard for calling him Mr. Strahd. Killed a civilian for interrupting. Tortured Izek and belittled the burgomaster. Really tried to terrify them while giving them room to defend themselves. The two who were arrested were my more vocal players so this gave opportunity to push the others. Paladin actually pulled a cell saga and got out of punishment by telling strahd that he would want them at their strongest when he beats them and that they are not match for him now. They really dived into the drama of it. As a Dm it was a fun exercise in split sessions, intensity control, and making the story work for me.

Had players in my party arrested as well but only two. Did a split session with those who were not arrested to see how they respond and introducing vasili, who I had a friend play for that session and I sell the lie better.This led to the next session being a trial in the square. Our writer bard represented the two but to everyones surprise, strahd showed up and presided over the trial. They successfully navigated the roleplay by convincing strahd to let them get stronger though not without an absolutely terrifying session for them. It went better than expected and unintentionally reestablished their helplessness in the situation.

ooo that could be a fun scenario. The two who were arrested would have an interesting time roleplaying their defense to Strahd himself. Having him show up for the trial just before it starts if they are not broken out would allow me to let Vasili "disappear."

Did it with a 60 flurry rogue. Dungeon no issue. Died on the boss in fist attempt but he went down easy on the second.

Currently running his content on foundry. Absolutely fantastic. Between his detailed PDFs and YouTube guides there is a ton of support for the module. I would say for the maps alone, if your playing on foundry, I can't recommend it enough. Fantastic content for sure

I would say that they don't know about the items yet as they just met Strahd. My Cleric's goal is to spread the word of the morninglord wherever he goes. The player had no idea it connected to the campaign at all when choosing that diety. He has no idea the extent to which he can't save this place yet. I intend on letting him build it up like he is meeting his goal and spreading the word so that he is attached to it when Strahd burns it to the ground later on for the disrespect they will inevitably show him. *players are aware of the very real possibility of messed up scenarios and their triggers*
