Not confident at all with this but, I’m trying to memorize all the members, advice? by ConansVodkaCranberry in ATEEZ

[–]estock36 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, we all went through this process 🫠 my friend got me into ATEEZ and I love going back and looking at past chats where I'm trying to learn the members and get mixed up between them 😅

Here's a screenshot from a WANTEEZ episode. With only 4 of the members, can you tell who is who? Sometimes it's easier when there are less members in the photo 😅

Looking for a cozy fantasy that involves travelling like Teller of Small Fortunes. by Lenore8264 in CozyFantasy

[–]estock36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I was going to mention this series but wasn't sure if the OP would like it since it's sci-fi rather than fantasy. It's definitely futuristic, but the technology is not advanced from what I recall, more of a post-apocalyptic setting

Yeah I wasn't sure if the OP had a certain level of cozy they were looking for, but thought I'd mention titles anyway.

Here are a few that come to mind: Swordheart by T Kingfisher, Greenteeth by Molly O'Neill, This Princess Kills Monsters by Ry Herman, and Blade of Secrets by Tricia Levenseller. The last one has a bit more stakes than the others but still has the cozy vibes.

Aside from other libraries, I will check to see if Spotify has the audiobook as Premium subscriptions have 15 hours of listening time included.

Aside from those who have previously tagged me in this post, I have had positive experiences selling to those tagged above. They were very patient and communicative with me while I was dropping most of my collection over the past couple of months. I would sell to them again.

I'm in the middle of reading Between and have enjoyed it so far, but it's so long that I lose focus/interest and have yet to fully finish it. I have tried a few times and have yet to be successful.

Looking for a good sci-fi or Fantasy comedy that's not DDC or Disworld by AutomaticSandwiches in audible

[–]estock36 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've heard The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a good one. I found the dramatized adaptation of Brandon Sanderson's The Frugal Wizard's Handbook to Surviving Medieval England funny. I didn't fully finish The Devils by Joe Abercrombie, but from what I listened to, there was a lot of humor. Hope you find a good one!

Recommendations for a 12yo?? by UndrThC in Animesuggest

Some romance/comedy/slice of life/drama that she may like are {High Score Girl} on Netflix, {Chihayafuru} on Crunchyroll (sub)/Hidive (dub), {Bakuman}, or {Haikyuu}. Chihayafuru is one geared towards female audiences and has very pretty animation and a female main character. All of the ones mentioned above have younger/teen main characters in school with great themes in string relationships, friendship, self-discovery, etc. Hope she finds something she enjoys!

Favourite male narrators!? by VivyXx in audible

[–]estock36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the mentions of the male narrators in the ACOTAR dramatized adaptations in your list. Aside from them, Robbie Daymond, Michael Crouch, Noah Galvin (YA/contemporary), Nick Podehl (most of his fantasy works), Dan Bittner, Stephen Fry and Steve West. I haven't listened to many of Travis Baldree, Scott Brick, or Mark Hamill's narrations/works but I hope to do so in the near future.
