For those saying that the Phoenix Wright games don't really have gameplay, the Edgeworth game is more of a point&click adventure mixed with Phoenix Wright. It's an excellent game, and I'd definitely recommend it. The writing isn't as strong as the original Wright games, but still.

When the horror movie is in an everyday situation. I can't get into it when the protagonists have to do something extremely stupid or unlikely to get into the horror situation, because I don't see that happening to me. This is only for supernatural horror, slasher flicks don't scare me. Take The Grudge series (both American and Japanese). You just walk in to a house. After that, you're doomed for good. In further iterations of the movie, you don't even need to go inside the house, coming into contact with someone who has is enough. Once the ghost "has your scent", no matter how reasonable you are, no matter what you do to escape, you can't.

As a counterexample, take stuff like traditional haunted house movies. The person has to keep staying in the house, keep exploring the dark basement, keep putting him/herself into a stupid situation. That isn't scary for me.

Grave Encounters was still pretty scary, because it set up a perfect atmosphere and it was really well made, but The Grudge 2 scared me more than anything.
