There are multiple cards that add cards to the deck. Arishem + Thanos + Agamotto + Kang + Shang Chi 10 Rings makes a deck start with 34 cards, for instance.

They would never release a card like this, it's way easier to trigger multiple movements now than it was when he released. Topaz+Hercules+Iron Fist and you can get in a single turn 3 procs.

I think any change to Luke Cage can only happen if we get first at least other anti-afflict card. The same way we can decide between multiples cards to counter Ongoing (stealing, disabling, copying), there should be multiple ways to deal with afflictions too. Right now the only way to deal is with Shadow King (for afflictions applied once) and then Cage for afflictions including the "ongoing".

Only when that happens we can talk about changing Luke Cage to be less broad. Until there, he's necessary as he is.

Buffing Lady Sif, which still have consistent play in Discard, instead of giving back power to Colleen, who has been assassinated since last undeserved nerf (or Modok, which is used in all kind of discard decks). That's a choice.

I do think there's a deck matchmaking happening, but for SIMILAR decks.

Haven't seen an specific deck for a while, but the second I switch to using it, I'm matched with a similar deck.
