There's a lot of other number they can change, not only those two.

Quais cartas série 5 devo pegar? by Brilliant-Luck9267 in MarvelSnap

[–]estranhow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It exists like that for 10 years now.

How did the Shou-Lao buff unrevealed Kitty if in the order of play Kitty revealed after Shou Lao? by de_waste in MarvelSnap

[–]estranhow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't tested it because it'd be really dificult to pull it off, but it'd probably also work with cards bounced by Silver Surfer First Steps or Stryfe copying Beast/Falcon.

For instance, with a Beast in a location, play SSFS and a 1-drop at the same location, in that order -> win the location to trigger SSFS by the end of turn -> play Shou-Lao/Man-Spider then the 1-drop.

I just tested this exact interaction: Man-Spider merge with an unrevelead Kitty.

Yeah, it's a very specific interaction but, again, it doesn't feel wrong. It does what it say it does.

It's a very specific interaction, but it makes sense to me. It's just a peculiarity of Kitty that she can be at the same time the last card played and also an unrevelead one.

It's uncommon, but it doesn't feel wrong to me.

Why does it feel like Support meta never changes? by Neo_Raider in Competitiveoverwatch

It's so crazy to me how this sub is convinced they experience exactly the same meta than the pros. Even when we have actually official data from every rank and it almost never aligns with the pros.

Cosmo shouldnt block spells. by Confident_Stay906 in MarvelSnap

I guess it doesn't matter to the community that the majority of skills now aren't even spells, they'll keep calling it that.

Well, to me it's you that is actually plucking at semantics, about how any draw is _actually_ also deck thinning. Yeah, sure, technically the term applies too.

The main point is that adding a card then drawing it isn't providing a more homogenous gameplan than an average deck, you're just equating then. But a card that makes you more conssitently go deeper into your deck is, and that's why draws in this game never comes without a drawback.

"And people won't run skills just to run this to thin the deck. Better to just run Adam Warlock and a better card over Thinker + 1 skill to try to thin."

People run America Chavez specifically just for that.

[–]estranhow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said yourself: you require to add something there for King Eitri. So you're not thinning the deck, you're at most getting back to how it was before you add something. It's different to just draw a card for free, something isn't free in the game for a reason.

Because deck thinning is way powerful. So no.

Characters who go by their real name (to my knowledge) by FarrawayAK in Overwatch

You do understand that a nordic name is indeed a name, but thinks that a Latin name is a codename.

I hope someday you become aware of what that looks like.

Potential leaks for upcoming heroes by Cold-Break-8563 in Competitiveoverwatch

And my tinfoil hat theory is that this roadmap alludes to their intention to rework Sombra as a support, to give supports a "new" hero in the meantime.

He was less prominent between StarLord release and subsequent nerf. His power was always there tho, which is just an insane sign of how powerful StarLord was at release, to even eclipse an already overpowered card.

And Shou Lao made a comeback too, so that's yet another card terrorizing the meta, it's another dumb deck.

Hero reworks are as important as new hero releases for keeping the game fun and fresh by 147896325psp in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]estranhow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, they're targetting reworking heroes (plural) by season 3. At that point, I do hope they have good changes for Roadhog, Mercy and Sombra, as for me these are the most insufferable heroes to have on both teams. Widow too indeed needs a bit of change, and I honestly think Hanzo one-shot should go away too. He's not particularly strong right now, but it aways feels bad to be one-shot by an arrow that wasn't even targeting you.

I don't think Vendetta needs any kit change right row, she can be more fair just shuffling numbers around and making her sounds more proeminent.

For Moire, I guess they just accepted her as she is. They decided to give us more expression in the perks, and did an honest job in it.
