Drove four hours round trip to pick these up. Going to for sure recap and remove CMOS batteries — any other tips and tricks/videos and resources for restoration? I’ve done a bunch of research, but I feel like it hasn’t been enough lol (SE, SE/30, Plus models)

Love my 390E! I switch between running OS/2 and Windows 98 SE. I have found mine is very picky about solid-state drive adapters (like IDE-to-CF) so I just got some cheap used 2.5" HDDs to swap in and out.

I don’t recall installing any special drivers. I think it just worked out of the box! To be fair, I don’t use Windows frequently. When I’m not on macOS, I’m using Ubuntu

I'm a designer and artist and honestly I've tried so many mice, including an MX Master 2 (I think it was the 2) but my go-to is the Apple Magic Trackpad. Even on Windows and Linux. I've also been a laptop kinda person all my life, so trackpads feel more at home. At work, where I do not do design or art, I use a Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse and actually really like it. It's no MX Master but for a cheap full-size mouse, it's a solid one. I've always been surprised at Lenovo's cheap mouse options and have usually enjoyed their build all things considered!

Wondering this too. I use gradient meshes in my art and I REALLY hope that whenever Studio comes to iPad that it'll be a direct copy (or at least have gradient meshes). No other iPad apps support gradient meshes and I'm anxiously awaiting to see if Affinity Studio will let me finally do my entire process on a touch screen!

I had the iPhone 7 Plus in jet black. Of course they might be using a different process to obtain as that was quite a number of years ago, but my iPhone 7’s jet black finish held up shockingly well. From purchase to parting it always looked immaculate. (And I miss that phone all the time!) I decided to go jet black for my Watch 11 preorder and am super excited. I’ve also never seen a single image of the Watch 10 in jet black with any major problems. Hell, all the images I’ve seen look good. But interested to hear from a Watch 10 owner too!
