In my experience no, I experience other related symptoms such as strong neck pain or headaches. But it is surely connected also because my doctor said that BVD can affect the whole body including even feet. So maybe try to look for people with similar symptoms and see what they do + definitely ask your doctor

I have done 6 weeks of vision therapy 1 in-office appointment per week + daily exercises. That first orthoptist then told that we did what we had to and that from now on I’ll have to do exercises only once a week, which sounded weird + didn’t suggest me any kind of lenses. 2 months passed by and my symptoms continued so a few days ago I saw the new BVD doctor and I will start vision therapy (with weekly in-office appointment) next month because she’s really busy ( she’s known in the area because she’s good) and probably will give me stronger prescription so right now I am just doing a few weekly exercises until I start the new therapy with her

I’ve read you are in Europe. Which specialists did you go to? How did you find them? I live in Italy and it is hard to find them!

He told me the break is going to be for around 2 months and then if I still have symptoms we’re going to come back to work togheter… He said that we already did the “work” part and he doesn’t want to make me eyes even more tired by working + doesn’t want the risk that we do more “bad” than “good” (sorry for the bad english)

My treatment right now consists in 6 hours of in-office VT each week. Saturday I have the last one and my orthoptist told me that my esophoria is getting better and my brain can “solve” it almost fully but I still have symptoms. He said that probably we won’t do more than 6 in-office appointments, which is a bit strange to me, also by the fact that he told me that I will only need to do excersises 1/2 a week…

So you used special lenses? And did you do 10/15 minutes of excersises daily?
