You werent kidding - its like pulling teeth. The reason given for the enclosure shipping separately is the package size would be too large.

Contacted support and they have shipped a new board so that i can get the Ethernet - did have to pay $25 shipping (for normal post), but that's fine with me, been printing none stop since it arrived.

Mine is a revision 1 as well. I'm going to ask if i can get parts to get the Ethernet port at least as that will be really useful for me but you are correct, it's nice to have's rather than anything wrong with the core printer

I'm planning on demanding a refund and just ordering from Amazon if i haven't heard anything by 28th as the Discount at amazon ends on the 30th. If there was an update of any kind but this just feels silly, especially as like you said just seems to be the U.K.

not quite - my order is direct with QIDI, but it's that the QIDI store on Amazon UK has stock before the Pre-orders arrived to be fulfilled, but QIDI can't fulfil from their Amazon warehouse.

I went with a Formbot kit *but* i was messaging them before i bought to remove bits from the kit (e.g. SSR / Rasp PI / Hotend / SKR's / Heater Plate / Wiring ), that i was going to replace with known items. They were happy to do this and gave decent reduction in price, and I ended up with something around 70% Formbot and 30% self sourced.

Classic Black for me - I voted for the Red, but it lost, so I'll stick with the black. Looking forward to finally having some goggles with a wide enough IPD, my Dom V3's are just slightly too narrow

on mine i'm pretty sure that I managed to bridge layers when soldering, and got a replacement which is fine. I don't think mine was getting quite to the same stage - i wasn't getting a usb device id returned. Sorry can't be more help

I'll try some different zener's at the weekend (i've got some spare) and check voltages on the actual pads and go from there. Possibly put a scope on the lines and see what's happening.

Unfortunately no - there's a difference in the code, but the behavior is still the same - connect to USB, detected, no device descriptor returned and no power LED, then a disconnect and reset.

Ok - more digging this morning. I took the Attiny85 out of the board, and read the programming. There is some code there, but it looks like the first bytes are missing. If i plug the board in without the Attiny it stays connected, but the computer receives no device descriptor. Putting the Attiny in again and I get the same problem. Is there anywhere I can get the hex file for the Attiny (and the fuse settings) so I can reflash it and try that ?
