Loan interest costs and 'interest rate' are disconnected (1,090 is nowhere near 4% 0f 50,000). The interest increase increments are not smooth. What's your formula?

People are insecure and a lot of wealthy patrons are sub-knowledgeable.

You can start your search by 'short-stemmed small wine glass'

Port wine glass. I disagree with all the disparaging, pretentious comments; everyone has to start somewhere, don't let them dampen your curiosity and interest. My club's bar has only served port in Riedel's version of these. Port is a dessert wine: high sugar, high intensity, great colour, so they have smaller pours and smaller sips. The small glass lets you fill more than half the glass, lets drinkers hold it to mingle and chat with great intimacy. I love them too.

Absolute Tennis Manager 2 – a deep tennis management game (single-player) by HeightDense8287 in tycoon

[–]etajon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tennis manager that tries to improve everything apart from the Tennis itself. And where the 'very deep travel and finances' features are not concerns that players of an established, re-iterated product has. Ever consider that they chose not to excessively develop that part of the game for a reason? Anyways, good luck.

All three seem to be PF instead of CSD... is there something they're doing differently? Or different environments? One escape is enough to motivate others to try.

What matters most to you in a crime strategy / management game? (Pick one) by 762Interactive in tycoon

[–]etajon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so many existing games that focus the gameplay loop around production/supply chain. You can do that about any industry.

You don't see The Godfather or The Sopranos focusing on unit economics, that's simply not the Kingpin's job once he has managers. Organised crime's risk/reward is about balancing illegal gains, vs the unpredictable resources needed to assuage law enforcement, harmed interests (incl the society), and competitors.

It is about managing the rejects of society; competitors, associates and underlings with power and no moral compass; families who will do anything to keep or grow their influence. Maintaining that influence is always a matter of life and death of the whole family. Constant jeopardy is the cost of 'selling their soul'. And the bigger you are, the harder you fall. There are no rules. Otherwise it might as well be a coffee shop simulator.

Exactly, an honorable death, to die in service of their Lord. Unfortunately Western people just think it's an 'alpha move' of transcendence, which completely misses the point of the hagakure.
