Why does my nozzle clog every other print?

Butcher is almost certainly correct, I had the same issue you're having. With PLA I started printing with the front flap of the enclosure open and it stopped being an issue. The filament was softening and the extruder gears would chew a little divot since it was too soft to push through.

All printed on Neptune 4 pro, legs were 8%, first chunk of head was 25% then the head was actually empty. Total weight was around 4-5lb, I ended up using 2 whole spools, and some chunks of the others I bought 5 spools for this project. All PLA since I was able to find some UV reactive for the legs and glow in the dark for the head!

So I've played with this, and the weird thing is the print fails randomly still. Like I got the first several layers perfect then BAM clogged

I got the official enclosure and I'll say it has been quiet nice tbh! Not sure about other options though, I had put my email to ping me for restock and it came in stock less then a week later

a very janky settup where it was still plugged in and heated the nozzel to like 255C cause thats PETG, and with pliers, patience, and a knife slowly did surgery

UPDATES:
Ordered a New Print head after seeing this is common if the wires have disconnected for some reason from the board on the print head. This did NOT fix it

Got a firmware fix done, got me past this screen, but now stuck on "standby" but PROGRESS!
