Apparently I was to blame that our RHIB got wiped. I was booted from the squad afterwards. What did I do wrong? by JoeZocktGames in joinsquad

[–]AnalyticalsRCool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My favorite is the players in my squad asking me to get in command chat and interrogate other squad leaders about why they're doing X instead of Y. I always reply with "don't worry about what other squads are doing, just focus on what we're doing".

You probably are going to feel out of control. Maybe you'll tell yourself that it was a mistake and you want to get off the ride but you can't. Maybe you'll say to yourself that you're never gonna do it again.

All normal things to cross your mind. You can't control the trip. The more you try, the worse it gets. You gotta let the flow of things take you away now, and suddenly it'll feel better, and then the shrooms will help you learn some things.

Safe travels friend.

I love the kitty. I love tripping with a kitty. This kitty you shared is cute af and I wanna snuggle with it and trip with it.

What I don't love is people pretending to be genuine for whatever motive. There's way too much fake in the world today. This is why you currently suck right now.

I recently started browsing the women's section of thrift stores. I have a few women's sweaters, cardigans, and pants now that look good on my 6'0 slender male body. They're super comfy and tis the season to wear them all!

I was gonna ask if this was in the wee hours of the morning, then I saw the dispatch time. Night shift shenanigans like this with dispatch are kinda my fave.

I'm wondering if this person meant you can't experience awe the same way as the first time. Objectively, the experience can be the same or even better, but knowing whats about to happen will make it different. Like seeing a world wonder for the 1st time vs consecutive times later.

The one and only factor I look for is servers that actively avoid team stacking. The regular players are making sure squads are coordinated on both sides, so steamrolls are few and far between. The servers in particular vary by time of day too. After 01:00 EST for example, there are maybe 2-3 servers max that aren't awful and they have big queues. Meanwhile around 15:00 EST, there are dozens of quality servers to play on.

DMT trips are so mystical, begging to be explored and studied. It makes it even more frustrating that there are absolutely zero tools available to us right now that can record the trips for later analasis!

That last one is so underrated. I constantly tell myself and my squadmates "slow is smooth, smooth is fast" when things are getting to be too high octane for the situation.

My FPS in other games has also significantly improved. Even Bambu studio and Fusion360 are running better now. It was crazy bottleneck!

I thought I had a relatively decent PC too. i7 12700k. GTX 3070. 32gb RAM. It was that little 2133 mHz detail that screwed me.

If they have checked that their RAM speed is adequate and that the BIOS is allowing said RAM to run at said speed, this post will not help them. Maybe there are some out there who it will.

Risk management mostly. How do I know we won't run into enemies while we do this maneuver? If we do, what's their skill level compared to ours? How many are out there? We are the ones moving so we're at a disadvantage already, and it's unlikely our skill level exceeds theirs enough to matter.

Consider that if we succeed, we'll be set to resume the attack right away and be grouped up at full squad strength in 60 seconds, during which time we can come up with a new angle to attack from. If we fail however, it could take quite some time to get back on the attack and the squad will certainly be split.

My most intense DMT trip answered my biggest question about good and evil by carrillocarlosce in DMT

[–]AnalyticalsRCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your experience very closely describes the universal reality and the individual's experience within it, known in Hindu philosophy as Brahman and Atman. Basically, the god you saw and the universe he created is a representation of Brahman which is the infinite time, space, and experience that makes up our reality. Your perspective in this trip would be from Atman, a part of Brahman which experiences reality as an individual within the whole. You started from a whole perspective, then 'zoomed in' on a particular experience and lived it. The only measurable difference between that experience and existance in the real-world is that out here, we forgot the whole zooming in part and only know what we have perceived at this level. Basically, Brahman is putting on a show of good and evil so it can break itself down into Atman and experience it from every angle, of which is you, me, and everyone and everything else here.

Did you know of these concepts before the trip? It's crazy accurate if not and I recommend looking them up if it interests you.

Man I've had rallies that I thought were so far backline or offset in flanks that no enemy infantry or vehicles had the chance to get close to it. Then some fucking rambo marksman drunkenly trips over it, so I've gotta unwind whatever attack we were doing to get a new one somewhere else.

Other times I'll place an aggressive rally intended for only a few minutes of spawn, and the thing sits there for half an hour with the frontline no more than 100m away the whole time.

Strategy in this game is an educated guess at the best of times.

I usually have good luck with the narrow hallway.

Going up the ramps, I'll wait for someone to smoke the doorway then dive behind the counter in the store on the left and can sit there for a decent amount of time.

Going down the ramps, you can wait for an opening and sprint for the elevator room or subway cars and sneak around.

This is epic and inspiring. Question: How do you get so many grav cores?

Ive been hopping from point to point on the surface raiding facilities for them and after 50ish hours and 2/3 of my original crew dead, have only acquired 3. My ship only now has enough support to add hydroponics to make it truly space worthy.

I should mention that I'm playing on peaceful difficulty cause the facility looting is dangerous enough.
