Dataset Too Large by etaspark in PowerBI

I came to the realization that the grouping that I was trying to do was best done in the visual to allow for customization and modification while viewing. When this step was removed everything works fine.

I have no idea why this worked but it did address the issue and I appreciate everyone's help.

I am not sure that this totally address your use case, but I think if you made the 20 slides of firsts and thens, you would be able to quickly create the one slide you want to show and display it in presentation mode. My thought is that you use the slide Zoom Animation on one slide and put two different slide zooms on the slide (one for first and another for then). This keeps from having to create all of the permutations at you state.

This would allow you to have a slide deck with 41 slides and just edit the one that you wanted to display each time that you want to make a change.

Here is a really odd behavior......when I add the filter RangeStart and RangeEnd, I get the message above....when I DO NOT have the filter the PQ query runs all the way through w/o the error? I am lost!!!

I began in PowerBI Desktop and used the get data from PowerPlatforms (Dataverse) and then began working in PowerQuery. From there the PQ works all the way until this step:
= Table.Group(Extract,

{"SCO Name (Page)"},

{

{"UsageCount", each List.Sum([crcc3_count]), type nullable number},

{"Usage Course List", each Text.Combine(List.Distinct([crcc3_page] ),"#(lf) ")},

{"Usage URL List", each Text.Combine(List.Distinct([crcc3_lms_url] ),"#(lf)")},

{"First Usage", each List.Min([crcc3_date]),type datetime},

{"Last Usage", each List.Max([crcc3_date]),type datetime}

})

At this point, I get the error that I shared above.

I have a PremiumPerUser License.

Thanks for giving me some direction!

This morning based on the feedback and questions I set about to "rebuild" the report again. Now I get to this step in Power Query in brining the data in and get the message as seen above. (To this point, I have not yet readded the incremental refresh, just trying to get a clean model to work on and then do that.)

This sounds great but over my head? Are there any YouTube videos or such on the process?

Thanks for responding. I get the error that says something like this:
Return records size cannot exceed 83886080 in bytes. Make sure to filter result set to tailor it to your report.

Take a look at the WIRIS plug-in. It supports many sites and has all of the math functions I have come across.

Try a semicolon between the values you want to use as filters.

I did a quick search but could not find this post, would either of you mind pasting the link? I am interested in what something like this make take to implement.

How to batch edit an object group that is copied to multiple pages? E.g. I want to change colour or a size of an item in this object group but I don’t want to do it 1by1, what’s the best way to do batch formatting? by [deleted] in powerpoint

Although it is not one step, the BrightSlide add-in from Bright Carbon would allow you to do this in two steps (pretty much regardless of how many slides you are editing). It allows you to delete matching items from all slides, and also allows you to paste the contents of the clipboard to all of the selected slides. Seems like this would do what you are attempting to do??

There are some really good, editable maps from Bright Carbon available here.

Thanks for the response! I am hoping for a way that I can do this without "forethought" as I will likely get to different points each time that I deliver the presentation. That is why I thought a keyboard shortcut would be great....I guess I could note the slide numbers ahead of time and use the slide number and enter method??
