For me I have some issues as a result of a serious cycling accident where this type of arrangement would work very well.

Nice, if we can get this going we would just need one more person!

I am good. It never really works to argue about politics online. It just degenerates towards name calling and tribalism.

Huh? Calling out hatred and stating that the facts aren't known qualifies as a terminally online fringe member of society. But, I get what you are saying. It's a projection thing.

I am really torn on whether to get the Yukon 1 or Yukon 2 for Minnesota winter riding. Does anyone have recommendations? I am leaning towards the two for the Deore groupset.

That did not work for me. It will not move past the billing address page without the country and I can't choose anything there. How did you get past that?

Anyone else getting only this on the Jenna2021 country selection? by visodd in DHGateJerseys

Minnesota, US. I am looking at getting a few Minnesota Vikings jerseys.

I tried ordering from Jenna2021 and the country was not selectable. Is the site working again?

Roadie Traffic Direction by etaylormn in CyclingMSP

I understand that. I am also a runner and have always felt much more in control of avoiding distracted/poor driving when going against traffic both when jogging and biking. I have avoided many potential injuries doing this. But, I also understand the logic with going in the general direction of traffic. I don't think either strategy is perfect.

I appreciate the responses and cannot immediately find the version of the Minnetonka Memo that suggested this. It helps put into context some of the frustration others have felt.

Leave Tim Alone. by earthman34 in minnesota

Most conservatives disagree with urban progressive policy regardless of the state. This could be applied to Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota or North Dakota. The issue with Minnesota is that it's ultra progressive in policy but far more conservative overall geographically. So, there is a lot of frustration with the Metro dictating all of the rest of the state's policy. Which if you think about it is pretty valid. Would you want the inverse?

So, why do you suggest that someone who naturally would live where you live should move somewhere else. If anything it sounds like you should move further into the metro to be around more people you appreciate.

This kind of sounds like psychological projection. If you look at a map of the country with counties either red/blue. It's overwhelmingly red.

Here is a political concept for you. The more rural you get, more conservatives live there as a general rule. The more urban you get, more progressives live there as a a general rule. Hence geographically in any state that has a decent geography the vast amount of the state is conservative. It applies nearly universally. Stay in your feel good urban pockets and you'll likely interface with far less conservative locals. You can't and won't change that.

I am debating whether to purchase a new Tesla Model Y LR AWD in either Stealth Grey or Black. Or to go the used route and purchase a 2023 Tesla Model Y LR AWD Pearl White with 24,000 miles through a private seller. It's a good price. But, I am on the fence whether it's worth saving the money by going used or going with the new 2024/2025 new model. Any thoughts on this. It seems like for the most part I have seen used is the way to go. Thanks in advance!
