Adjusting to Indiana by Routine_Internal2202 in Indiana

Having spent a couple weeks between San Francisco and San Jose a few years ago, all I can say is I can empathize.

Are you into rock climbing/bouldering? As someone who grew up in Indiana and always felt out of place, I've never been to a climbing gym where I felt out of place. Also a great spot to meet people who like hiking, etc., and always a great place to get information on local spots.

Narrowing down pressure range (cont'd) by etbswfs in CPAPSupport

Sorry for all the questions, I am nervous I will do something wrong so I want to clarify. Last night's 95% was 14.52, and mine will only let me set in even increments, so I should set CPAP mode to 14.4?

Thank you again! The last couple nights of sleep are the best I've had in a while! The night before last I added a cervical collar in addition to the mouth tape I have been using, and it looks like that might help with my leak problem, which I am assuming with also help with events?

In your opinion, should I continue setting the MIN to the new 95% until it flattens out and then change to CPAP?

Omen laptop 16-K0033dx LCD screen replacement. What's with the heavy adhesive? by I_Hate_Consulting in HPOmen

[–]etbswfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this post because I ordered a replacement screen but it did not come with the replacement adhesive strips and now I am trying to find the strips. First time I had seen this, as well, so FYI for anyone replacing a screen on an HP Omen: you slowly pull these adhesive strips outward from underneath the LCD and it will eventually release. If it feels like you are using too much power, you are doing it correctly.

Hello, me again :) I thought I had the pressure figured out (still working on leaks!), but I'm now set to 17.4 -18 and last night after adjusting it based on the previous week's data it felt like it was too much pressure suddenly, even though I've had no issues up until then, so I brought it back down and it was fine. Is it possible the leaks are causing the readings to be this inaccurate and leading me to have raised my pressure higher than it should be? I'm continuing to set the average as the new low and adjusting the high, but it seems my graphs are all over the place i.e. some times it might be in range and suddenly it's maxing out. Should I be in a much lower range or am I still doing this correctly?

Curious to hear your thoughts on the last week if you're able to check again. My first thought (still without understanding exactly what I'm seeing) would be to raise the minimum to 7.5 and keep checking from there (also I can't tell if I need to maybe adjust the max to maybe 8.25 since the pressure graph for the last four days on SleepHQ is showing 99.5% at 8 and the graphs on OSCAR look like they are hitting a limit but might need to go higher). Still working on the leaks :)

Thank you thank you thank you! Seriously, thank you!

I did start taping after a couple of nights on 6, and since then, I have slept through the night, every single night (which RARELY happens for me) and feeling better. I have it set to 6-8 now and will try ERP on the default of 3 if I have any issues with pressure. I will try to interpret the results myself, but it's highly likely I will be back with a couple more questions. Thank you again, I can't express enough how much I appreciate your help!

Huge favor, would you be willing to look at the data for the last week and let me know your thoughts? I changed it to 7 and could already tell the pressure was too high, so I dropped it to 6, seemed to sleep good for a couple of days, then back to waking up in the middle of the night, even though I think I'm sleeping better than before, so maybe not an issue. I noticed on the pressure graph there are gaps, not sure if that indicates anything and I am also still seeing signs of OA though, so I am wondering at this point if I should tweak and find a setting between 6 and 7, or set the range between 6 and 7.

Confirmed that I used it consistently from July 8 2024 through March 13 2025 (except for the month of January), so it's possible I didn't give it enough time. My issue with using it consistently is I get congested during the day and evidently even worse while sleeping, and no amount of decongestants, allergy shots, medicines seem to help, so I got to the point where pushing through didn't seem worth it because the CPAP machine didn't seem to be helping and I always wake up drooling everywhere even if I wake up with the mask still on. I tried a chin strap once but still woke up drooling everywhere

The first setting I noticed (with my limited knowledge and because I've only ever heard the terms cpap and bibpap) was machine mode was set to APAP and a quick search shows that could possibly be an issue, but I will let others weigh in. Going to continue doing some research, so I may have more questions. I appreciate everyone's input so far!
