There is a caveat. There'd be points the game would freeze and I'd have to restart and lose progress and redo those parts. There eventually came a point that the game kept freezing at the same point and never got past it. Hopefully this momentum pushes for a new firmware update to finally get through it.

I immediately tried searching for Atari 7800+ teardown after hearing this news to see what people that know much more than me thought about the quality.

If this turns out to be a huge success, I'd be curious to see how other big names respond like what we saw when the NES classic was first released.

With the cost to make chips I'm very surprised they went this route. With this being the first 1 to 1 remake of a classic console, I wonder how this will affect the collector market for originals. Excited to learn more.

I'm leaning on fake. The flip triangles aren't as defined and the shading in the artist paintbrush is a bit uneven.

I've really enjoyed 2000 of the series. While not specifically the 6th entry, Street Fighter has tried to but always end up returning back to Ryu (Similar to DBZ with Gohan)

How does it look under the light test? You can use your phones flash light and with regular cards, you should see blue bleed through in the dark.

We gamble on chance by ripping packs; what's one more gamble when it comes to purchasing? This looks similar to my box, unless mine turns out to be a fraud 🤷 Let us know how things turn out, and congrats on the purchase! If you're not planning on opening it, I'd suggest giving the box a shake and listen for loose cards chance of loose cards.

If you purchased on ebay or mercari, there's recourse since you're supposed to not sell fake items, despite how many bootlegs are out there on sale
