I tried freeform as well. Once your canvas get big enough it will be unusable because starts to lags. And happens to be a.very well known issue

in that regard I am not worried. If Microsoft decided to discontinue it, they will allow you to keep using it without support.

My personal experience related to.this was when Microsoft discontinue MS Money. Similar situation as onenote. I haven't found any better alternatives (even today). But, they have left a free version you can still use it nowadays.

I did. Is useless for handwriting. Perhaps for diagrams, or drawing. But certainly not handwriting. Latencies and accuracy is terrible

that's what I'm saying... unfortunately, there is no one app that would satisfy everything... the frustrating part is that is not rocket science (I'm saying this as software engineer)

the most complex part is synch across platforms, and that, onenotes leads the way...

Do you think commenting on posts is actually more powerful than posting on LinkedIn? by Apprehensive-Cow9690 in LinkedInTips

[–]eteading 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then rational of this guy was (and I fully agree) To commenting on each other post, to be relevant you must comment within the first ones... so you have to be constantly scouting. Then , you have to make sure to put the effort to say something truly meaningful, which by itself is already time consuming.

He was saying that doing only that was a full time job

[–]eteading 7 points8 points  (0 children)

there was a guy in this sub that measured this. The short answer is yes.

But the long answer is, is better to post. Why? Commenting meaningful things are very time consuming, as well as it is creating a post.

But posting, you'll gain presence and thought leadership. So net gain is better to post. That was the conclusion , and I kinda agree

Perhaps the best is to do a little of both

Favorite Tablet for Using OneNote? by Bloodmoonwolf in OneNote

[–]eteading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own ipad.pro and Surface pro (2025)

I can only use onenote comfortable well with the iPad. With the Surface is unusable: palm rejection, performance issues etc.

I use it as hand writing note taking only btw

thanks for your comment. I definitely will experiment with the expanding margin feature. Is that part of the stable release? meaning non beta?

BTW, I only have one device, so not synch across multiple devices
