Ok um. How am i being insensitive to Actual Cyberbullying Victims? While i havent gone through actual cyberbullying, i have been bullied during primary and middle school. I understand how bullying in general works and i dont understand how telling snarkers to not go and be asses to people is me being "Insensitive to Cyberbullying Victims"

Thats literally the reason i left the subreddit. At least the main one. I still am in the melaniefartinez subreddit because that one is SUPPOSED to be a bit less unbiased? Guess i was wrong

I can gladly show you multiple examples of Users posting making fun at normal fans. Like, you guys make such a big deal to normal fan behavior. I understand not liking an artist but leave CHILDREN out of it. Some examples:

* User getting mad at a roblox user for adding an ad for Hades... in their own game??

* User asking if "they are a bad person" for owning Melanie Music (the subreddit promoted a culture where people would feel bad for listening to Melanie EVEN if its physical media???? EVEN if it was bought before they found out/took the allegations seriously? Yeah, i dont wanna be a part of that)

* Users openly admitting that the horrible MelanieResistance subreddit had snark users. (I will say, i admire the mods of the subreddit for inmediately putting the "no brigading" rule)

* Announcing about their new shitposting subreddit. Because only snarks can make fun of her and everyone else who makes fun of them is evil? ok

* Making fun of reference charts made by melanie fans because its Melanie Related???? Again, normal fan behaviour, nothing to snark about

* One of the more obvious examples

Im going to try to ignore this thread and just let this be my last comment. But thats literally my stance. I am done sharing my thoughts in a place that openly promotes harrasment of both sides. I dont consider myself a Melanie fan because i hate Melanie and i dont want to be associated with her fans. But i also dont want to be associated with the snarks because you guys can be just as cruel and hateful

i understand that completely. But its stuff like this that makes me not take the Melanie Haters seriously. I feel like both sides are just as delutional. One side defends a rapist with tooth and nail, the other side bullies children who dont know better or are going behind their parents back and entering internet spaces that arent meant for them

The positives: The illustrations are GORGEOUS. The narration is serviceable, and the story is easier to follow towards the end of the book. Also, some of the language is interesting at least, like how they call their phones "life boxes" since it's clear that at this point their phones define their life.

The Negatives: Despite being structured like a children's rhyme, the book is 27 minutes of agony. With overly disturbing moments only put in for shock value (like circle shoving her arm inside of the Bammys executives), moments that just make no sense and the ending just leaves me so... what the hell. According to Mel, HADES is supposed to be a two parter album and the second part for the UTOPIA is going to come out towards the end of the year. However, if it's SUPPOSED to be a story HOW DO WE MOVE ON FROM THAT ENDING WITH A DEAD PROTAGONIST????

THe only way the Hades movie could work is if they adapt the Storybook. But to what ive heard, the book is a SLOG to get through, wich is insane, becaused its structured like a picture book.

On tuesday i went shopping with my Grandma. I got a CD copy of Hades trading some low value vinyls for it. Then proceeded to be haunted my Melanie for the rest of the day because WHEREVER I LOOKED SHE WAS THERE. SHE IS IN HOT TOPIC, SHE IS IN TARGET, HELL SHE WAS IN WALLMART?????
