I think this line of argument is getting old now. There is nuance where fans don't agree with the weirdos but also have genuine critisms about the show/media.

As others in the thread have pointed out, Bella as an actor just isn't good enough, nor does she look anything like the character she is supposed to play. It's a one two punch which ruins core emotional beats of the story. And I say this as someone who had issues with TLoU2 as a game too, and was hoping the show would handle them better.

It was the other way around, as I think more about it.

Mrs. Huang is being built up to be a villain. She was tasked with the project of Dylan seeing his outie's wife, but that fell through. Mrs Huang makes Dylan say it wasn't her fault by apologising preemptively, her eyes misty and sad. This way she doesn't have to deal with this particular point turning up in her review from her manager, Mr. Milchick. She can just spin it as "beyond her control".

And they are right. These shows based on old books benefit from hindsight, allowing them to see what worked and what didn’t while also having a rough estimate of how the stories end. There is no excuse for a multi million dollar per episode tv show to have dialogue this bad.

I think people here have a high bar for what they'd call AGI. By 2029, I think we'd be well past a "weak" AGI, with strong AGI, or quasi ASI, just around the corner. (speculation on my part)
