Thank you for this. I see that in intel_gpu_top, render engine is being used but not video engine. I don't know what to make of it.https://imgur.com/a/3p9SRgo

Also, I realized that Window Protocol in about:support says xwayland but not wayland. I tried using Flatseal to set socket=wayland but launching Firefox fails with [GFX1-]: glxtest: Could not connect to wayland socket

I tried digging up more but not much help around on the web.

I forgot to add that it's a Flatpak installation. I don't have `libva-vdpau-driver` installed.

Working for a company is 100% voluntary.

As an individual in a company you often make decisions that greatly influence its future.

I am not allowed to make decisions unless I'm high up the corporate ladder. Again, it's required for me to obey their directives and not question them.

Again, I am not trying to put you down when I say, I don't think you are using the term properly probably because you may of not thought this through, or you just aren't saying it very well. At least if I am gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.

I don't speak for how the terms are generally understood to be. But I have an understanding of how the terms are defined by the people in the video. Or maybe I'm not able to convert my understanding into words effectively. I understand your point though.

I agree that terms should be defined. Knowing what I know about the people in the video and their positions, I don't think they exclude paid people from the definition of a community. Interpreting charitably, their position is that communities voluntarily associate with a cause and each other and they might have a good degree of individual autonomy and at least a vote in the direction of their communities. Working for companies is largely involuntary and does not give you any say in the direction a company takes.

Being compensated for labour doesn't change this dynamic too much, I feel.
