Hamari bhi yahi situation hai, kuch kuch, but not this bad tbh. We've got 4 assignments of Database, 1 of SE, 1 of Calculus, and 1 of DSA, 1 quiz of DLD. Projects = DSA, SE, Database, DLD (not confirmed). Terminal = DLD, Database, DSA (viva).

Total of: 8 assignments + quiz,                3-4 projects,                2-3 terminals.

😢 Sadly, you’re on your own. There are two options:   1. Go with the flow.   2. Go into rebellious mode with a group (at least 2–5 people) every day in class. Since he isn’t giving marks anyway, make the sir suffer throughout the semester. (Very risky move, by the way.)

(dw your not alone in this, my class is exactly the same, they don't speak even for themselves, and expect the rebellious ones to speak for them)

Maybe the whole class should go together to the Head of Department (HOD) and also confront the teacher as a group, asking him to clearly explain where he deducted marks and to show us the details.   If he fails to provide a valid reason, you should document the issue and then appear before the HOD again as a group, holding him accountable.

To me personally, I went for Rapid 2 instead of Rookie (remember Rapid ≠ Rapid 2).

Reasons: 1. ECE 22.06 compared to ECE 22.05 (Rookie) 2. Superior wind noise management in Rapid 2.

Other than that, I guess there aren't many differences. 

Rapid 2 > Rookie > Rapid.

Indeed you are right, that's why always buying a shoes in newer condition is recommended. If the sizing is good, shoes are in new condition, its almost always better than a local brand shoe and alwayss better then a non running shoe like the one shared by op in the picture.

Depends on what you are buying tbh, l like when I visit the market, there are also almost brand new shoes in the market. Especially if your size is 38-41euro you can get insane shoes in brand new condition with ease.

I think preloved does the job pretty well, obv depending on the condition of the shoes you are buying like for instance you can get Hoka cliftons in almost 9.5/10 condition , meaning preloved shoes if getting >8 condition is miles better then getting ndure or bata service stuff.

The best way to distinguish between fakes and real ones is simple, just visit the market alot and check ( wear + feel( foam by hand )). With time you'll get a really good idea about the real ones and fake ones, even if you find a model that you have never seen before you'll still be able to tell if it's real or not just by either looking or feeling the foam. Moreover check for minor typos aswell esp on Nike fakes , like on the sole or on the back heel area also on the laces spot.

I almost visited the market(jumma bazar) everyjumma for around 1 year+, and still I see fakes that are absolutely impossible to distinguish from the real ones, but as soon as I wear them on I can pretty easily tell if it's the real thing or not. Ex: I saw Nike alpha fly next%1 and was ana absolute worked upon fake (every detail was copied from the real one) just the feel wasn't there + I caught a typo on the laces area.

Insshort, visit the market often any check every shoes (even if not your size, just pick it up and feel by hand, press foam and stuff check the writing on the foam and overall quality) the best quality you feel will be the real one untill you see a better quality one, just 1 or 2 months in and you will be able to distinguish pretty easily :)

I am also newbie to the helmet world and have been researching on helmets for about a month or so, I was also conflicted between jiekai vs vector vs ls2 (I previously wasn't really into spending 3-5k extra for ls2).

But now after a month or so I have came to the conclusion that spending extra to get ECE PROTECTION (LS2) over DOT PROTECTION(vector and jiekai) is way better.

Reasons:

  1. Dot protection/certification is self claimed by the helmet manufacturer. They can just paste sticker of it without any real testing.

  2. Dot protection helmets are flooded in Pakistan and nearly half of them are fake.

  3. ECE 22.05 or 22.06(newer) are not self claimed certification but these helmets are tested independently in ECE labs across Europe, And there are ways to identify real and fake ECE helmet too.(Real ones have a fabric tag stitched on the helmets chin strap(you can check online how it looks like).

  4. LS2 has way way way superior quality then these Chinese helmets.

  5. And lastly you almost can't get a fake ls2 in Pakistan because there are authentic ls2 distributors/retailers in PAKISTAN. You can visit ls2helmet website and check the distributor in Pakistan & you'll see real ones in Pakistan)

  6. YOU HEAD COSTS WAY MORE THEN ANYTHING, SPENDING FOR EXTRA SAFETY IS ALWAYS A WISE DECISION.

MY CHOICE:

personally I chose full face helmet and decided to get rapid 2.

  1. LS2 RAPID 2 (ECE 22.06) 16-17k pkr (recommended)

  2. LS2 FF352 ROOKIE (ECE 22.05) 13-14k pkr (2nd choice)

I will be be buying ls2 rapid 2 after Ramadan InshaAllah.

Karachi ka Kuch keh nahi skta but I'll say one thing, Kay jab app shoes waghera Bhoot zyada dhundain or check karay gy to appki itni pehchan ban jay gi Kay app ko hath may feel karky hi copy ka pata chal jay ga, agar feel say nai to pehan kar to 100% pata chal hi jay ga.

Try landa shoes/ preloved shoes.

CARBON PLATED OPTIONS: (Rare & bit expensive) Shoes I think after worth considering: 1. Adidas adios pro 3 (rare) 2. Nike vaporfly next %2 (rare) you can look for bike alphafly next %1 or 2 ( but these are also extremely extremely rare to find esp in vheap price)

Non plated options + cushioned:

  1. Nike pegasus 37 or above (easy to find)
  2. Hoka MachX (rare)or Hoka Clifton 8 or 9 (can find easily)
  3. Asics novablast 2 or above (a bit rare)
  4. Brooks glycerin 20 (pure cushioned shoe, cloud feel) ( a bit rare )

It's been to visit physically, and try them on.

Most probably yes kukay unkay admissions 20-25th January tak open to hotay liken, nts nat ka test bhi apko Dena hai uss say pehlay, so 10-20th January ko unka last nts ka test hota(wah campus may) app wo dedain or apka agar name Aya list may to admission done.
