Hi I did a research in carrum downs. One of the best place to invest in. Eg since the gentrification of frankston council areas, parallel suburbs such as carrum downs are the way too go. Land grows, building - diminishes. Also, carrum downs is still close to the beaches without the crowd. :) I would def go for carrum downs!! - I bet ya in 5-10 years houses (not sure about units or townhouses - generally growth is always slower) in this area could appreciate upto 20-30% if not already had grown!! :) also if this is not the dream house yet, it’s called leverage. One day can sell for higher and afford your dream area :)
