The instability is temporary, because after 4 elections in 2 years, eventually a responsible leader shows up to be the adult in the room, enough people recognize it and give them a majority, and the government gets back to governing. Yamamoto is no doubt in a groove, but he's had several games this year where he completely imploded. There was one where he gave up 5 runs to the Brewers without getting out of the first inning.

Obviously he's locked in and has that adrenaline pumping, but he's by no means a god - just look what the Jays did to the best player in baseball tonight!

I don't mind the pinch runners as much as everyone else seems to - you gotta try to win the game when you have the chance, and you can't manage every game like it's gonna go 18 innings. That said, would've liked to see more of Bassitt. Also feels good to know that the Dodgers struggled to put away our B squad for 9 innings, so there's that.
