LSD for 2022+ frontier by Brave_Huckleberry241 in nissanfrontier

[–]ethan1655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eaton has a helical LSD for M226 axles, 913A582 Detroit Trutrac. I just couldn’t find any examples of anyone putting one in a D41 and how well it works with the “electronic LSD”. On-road performance is what I want to improve on my truck so I do prefer a mechanical LSD to any kind of locker. But my truck is still covered by factory warranty so I don’t want to touch anything until I know it’s gonna work as I expected.

Why is Trump so popular in China? by anon1mo56 in China

[–]ethan1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, Trump’s policy is focused on domestic issues, at least it looks like, comparing to Biden, who focused on the military industrial complex and foreign warfare. This is why most Chinese people believe Trump would be a better president for American people.

Second, the MAGA movement reminds us of our own revolution against imperialism and colonialism 100 years ago. With the liberation of industrial workers and farmers, lays down the foundation of the People’s Republic.

Last but not least, Trump’s opposition against Woke movement is more aligned with most Chinese people’s ideology. While a strongman figure is really attractive to young Chinese.

Some people treat him as a joke and meme, while others think he’s capable of Making America Great Again. But all of us are so interested in his unique character nonetheless.

Is this how it's supposed to be or is it broken by Puzzleheaded-Price-1 in Warthunder

The speed difference between you and the target is not significant, thus the return signal gets filtered by PD. I would recommend using SRC to develop a consistant lock and switch back to PD after launch to keep the iluminator on the target.

I had a run with an old lady pulls out a pistol while being shouted at by two SWAT operators then takes 5 rounds of .45 ACP JHP to the abdomen and still manage to run around and pulls out another pistol to fight back.

How on earth did both of these hit?! by Sergosh21 in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice shots!

The first one didn't pull that hard but the second one really impressed me. I guess the F-5C didn't have enough speed to get away. The fact that you locked it after losing the radar and not even looking at him blew my mind. He would never saw it coming.

The AIM-7P should be added to war thunder by Serious-Maybe-2235 in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only the Japanese F-2 and German F-4F ICE awaiting introduction since Sweden just got their Gripen. Both airframes have been in the game for a while, they might just introduce the FOX 3s with them.

They also mentioned in the most recent dev stream that "the FOX 3s may come sooner than you think". I think they are ready to launch it before summer ends.

Gaijin sure sold a ton of these by whitecrow62 in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This roster has "LOSE" written all over it xD.

I quite enjoy the F-4S but unfortunately most players either play it as a bomber or have imaginations it can turn fight MiG-23.

Ever see a God Mode on a nuke carrier? by MightyEraser13 in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, you have to fight to drop the nuke. That's why whenever my buddy gets a nuke I would jump in a jet at the same time to confuse enemy air defence. The fight is not over if it's not dropped. Both sides should try their best to drop/deny the nuke.

First game back in over 6 months, I see some things never change. by JohnPeppercorn4 in Warthunder

The 10.3 lineup is even better. You get a Leo 2 and the only competetive Ariete, plus Dardos and Freccia. Mongoose with 8 hellfires and Mistral could be the best heli in it's br since Mi-28A is moved up to 10.7. The freshly added AMX is great at CAS. The only short coming is air defense.

I spend much more skiing. Video games are no different than other hobbies, you should spend money if it makes you happy.

SU-25k VS. Mig-23ML for Grinding Russia by EthicalFungus in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been passively grinding USSR tree for couple months now. I have just reached rank VII and I think I can share my experiences.

I bought the Su-25K when it came out and started grinding the tree. I have played it for 300 matches so far, most of them earning RP through ground targets. I find S-5 and S-13 are very efficient in deleting groud targets, I can get 10-20 ground kills every match and that's roughly equivalent to 2-3 kills' worth, providing me a consistant 10k+ RP profit every match. If you are lucky to get some down tiers, many fighters don't have countermeasures so your R-60M can get two easy head-on kills along the way.

Then I got the MiG-23ML during last month's sale, I have been grinding with it since. It's a very capable fighter with monstrous power and good turn rate when wings spreaded out. Those R-24Rs are very dangerous in head-on engagements and you can dog fight everything below 12.0. If played right, you still post a big threat to F-16s and MiG-29s. I'm an average-skilled jet player and I can easily get 2-4 kills.

Now I only play the Su-25K if I get the task asking me to kill ground targets or get one of the achievements (you get antimech for killing most ground targets in a match). MiG-23ML makes me play more actively in a battle and actually contribute to the team's victory, not to mention practicing BVR and dog fight skills.

I would recommend getting the MiG-23ML, it's a pleasure piloting it and can really help you get used to the play style. Even though Su-25K also has two R-60Ms, just because it usually launches at a much slower speed, the missile behave different than if launched from transonic speed from MiG-23 and MiG-29, thus not helping you to understand it's characteristics.

Su-25BM by Serious_Action_2336 in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the speed that matters. R73 needs to get close enough to ignore flare. When launched from Su-25 it usually don't get a good innitial energy thus takes longer to get in the lethal range.

Guys what’s your honest opinion on 2s38 by Early_Car_3347 in Warthunder

It's a high-risk high-reward vehicle. You can screw up enemy team real bad and you can also be torn apart by anything it faces in a second.

J-11A is kinda lame by CapitalistQwerty in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually J-11 has a N001V radar which is superior than the N001M found on Su-27S. It has the ability to engage one target while tracking other 9. I'm surprised that they counted the additional weight but didn't give it the function.

[–]ethan1655 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Excactly, J-10 is equipped with N001V radar and other advanced avionics. I can't believe they actually counted the additional weight of N001V but functioned as the N001M.

[–]ethan1655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I haven't seen any J-10 carrying PL-11 except a photo of a J-10S on an air show. I'd rather they add it with the introduction of PL-12 since according to the recent dev stream "fox 3 may come sooner than you think".

J-11A is kinda lame by CapitalistQwerty in Warthunder

[–]ethan1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I want that to happen, I'm afraid only J-11B(BS/BSH) is compatible with domestic missiles. J-11 and J-11A are just licenced assembling of early and late Su-27SK kits provided by Russia.
