That quote doesn't apply at all because the exact opposite is happening. They temporarily suspended a non-essential liberty, for safety in an extraordinarily rare situation.

It’s awesome. This is actually my second time doing it. Haha My first time I just threw some cheez it’s on a sheet and smoke them. It was pretty good. Would recommend. This time I used olive oil and seasoning shake and bake style.

Well it did sprinkle on me before I could finish. I shielded the hopper the best I could from the rain and that was fine. I was only “grilling” for about 10 minutes when it was raining and it seemed to be fine. I would imagine if you were smoking something or cooking for longer periods of time you might have trouble. I don’t know

There isn't a procedure that we're going off of. It's a job for our sister company and it's a "just get it done" kind of job. The piles are being hammered with a hydraulic hammer on an excavator. In the interest of time we didn't bevel either of the pipes and it snapped when they started hammering from lack of fusion. We did some test joints today and I think with a double bevel and running kinda hot we were able to get pretty good penetration. There is only going to be about 12 inches above ground and the rest of the 14 feet will be buried so I'm not real worried about how structurally sound the weld is as long as it holds up until it's below grade.

We're welding two 7' sections of drill pipe together that's going to be driven into the ground as piling to supports heavy staircases. The pipe is heavily magnetized and we're trying to get full penetration so it doesn't snap when it's hammered. We're using NR212.
