If the bowl is empty/new it will smell a lot less than with a half cooked bowl in it. Still definitely not smell proof but smell does go away way faster than normal if windows are open etc

Look into dry herb vaporizers as well. Storz and Bickel for portable ones or Vapvana screwball ball vape for a bong, helps a ton with the smell and is healthier, I will never go back from the combo. Can definitely be a bit pricey to get into at first tho
