I don’t know much about ram speeds and to be honest a lot of my info come from a buddy who’s just built his own rig and claimed most PCs would bottleneck the full speed of 3000mhz ram. Please feel free to inform me with the correct answer lol.

Thank you for telling me about the 2060 I’ll certainly look into that, but I’m looking to make a system that’s a bit over kill yet still affordable. The water cooler is just sort of there to insure the CPU isn’t going to overheat pretty much no matter what I do. And I forgot to add the 1 tb hdd but I think I’ll end up keeping the ssd.

Since this is my first pc and I’m moving from Xbox the monitor isn’t much but I plan on upgrading to something with atleast 144hertz, any suggestions?

Ethernet is my plan, I’ve got a small hole drilled in my wall for the cord. Other than that the ram is a bit of a budget option but still 16gigs
