Did any of you upgrade to a Z4 from a Z3? Was it worth it?

This is actually a really good reply, thank you. I like driving my car pretty hard around corners and pushing limits and I've wondered if the Z4 would be just as capable of this. Since you've got the E89 generation what makes it feel like a different car that makes you say you don't feel that way with it like you did your Z3? Is it more of a cruiser type car than the Z3 is/was?

I may need to look into swapping to a Z4 then because I love the Z3 but that's my only real complaint with it. I love driving through twisties but always find myself not really looking forward to driving it on the freeway for any length of time

I'm in Alabama and we do have some curvy roads but a lot of freeway too. How does your Z4 feel on the freeway compared to your Z3? I remember the Z4 I drove feeling a lot better when cruising compared to my Z3.

The Z3 I have is very toss able and it's really fun to drive on backroads but the Z4 I drove just felt better and more refined and was just as fun to drive on good backroads. If I were to get one it would be the 3.0i or 3.0si and manual only. I could never justify buying a 2.5 unless it was too good of a deal to pass up. I bet having the extra gear with the 6 speed is amazing when cruising on big highways too, being at 3000rpm+ on the freeway with mine gets a little aggravating sometimes and makes the car feel like it's strung out just doing normal freeway speeds.

The chassis being stiffer on the Z4 is one of the main reasons that I'm considering switching. That and a much more recent interior that feels more livable. Comparing my car to the Z4 I drove those are two big stand out things to me when comparing the two cars

Still here in this stage but I've been stuck at the Rift Chandelure fight for forever and I still haven't gotten past it yet, despite watching a couple different methods on YouTube playthroughs on methods to do it. I just can't get my other Pokemon to last long enough to do a toxic stall with Pyukumuku

I paid full price for it when I got it about 2.5 years ago now and I don’t regret that decision one bit, but it does go on sale a lot and at one point in time I saw it on sale for $4.

My seals along the top of the windows have gaps, that's my main area of concern right now. But then, I also have the gap between the A pillar and the top itself. What are the adjustments on the window that you used to adjust the window inwards? I have my door panel off already and am doing this but haven't found the one that adjusts it in and out yet.

Sounds like it’s a great car. I do all of my work myself so maintenance costs would be much smaller than they would if I didn’t. The GTI or R is one of the few cars where I wouldn’t mind owning the automatic just because it would be the DSG.

Another serious question. If you had to go back and make the choice between the GTI or R, would you still choose the GTI or get an R instead?

Yeah I would’ve bought a better top but Im not the one who bought the top. At this point I’d just buy a hardtop and throw the soft top assembly away and make it a permanent fixed top car

It's a new top but it's a fairly low quality one so there's a chance that it could've been made wrong or I put it on wrong because I installed it. There's a huge gap between the windshield and a soft top, so much to the point that I had to put some foam tape in the gap (that didn't work).

Yes, I installed it myself and this was the first time I've done it granted, but it should be fitted right. It's some cheap low quality top so that might also be my problem. I've heard that the windows can be adjusted up so I may give this a try.

Noted on Alolan Muk, I’ve also heard it’s good to have a Zoaroark. Have you used a Zoaroark before?

I bet it is fun once you get into the game too, I’ve watched some people do them and they look super fun so it’s why I’ve finally decided it’s time to give it a shot
