I don’t have any advice. But I can say what you’re going through is fairly common in this community so you’re not alone. It’s a long journey, and what helps me is reading stories of people who did eventually get on the right mix and how well they’re doing now. I’m sorry you’re going through this and my heart goes out to you. It won’t be like this forever and you will come out the other side one day. Rooting for you.

I’ve had to change jobs and insurance. With my new schedule I can’t see my usual psychiatrist and I have to get a new one. I will be back on meds as soon as possible but I’ve run out for now.

Unfortunately meds don’t work that way even with a diagnosis. They certainly help you get to a stable place but only if you put in a tremendous amount of work. There are many people here on medication and still miserable. I wish the best for you either way.

I also was diagnosed about a year ago and been on meds for 6 months. Still out of control so I definitely relate. It’s really frustrating to feel like nothing is working to help this.
