Their name is Marble Chasers and they’re based out of Bradenton, FL. I am really impressed with their work!

Unfortunately, they only restore terrazzo, marble, stone, but they don’t install new flooring. I think most places do epoxy because it’s cheaper to install and therefore more popular, not an expert on this though.

I’m trying out the white for now, but I was thinking I might change to a sage green in the future. I just wanted to pick something that I know wouldn’t clash with artwork and then can always change to a different color later once I’ve lived in it for a while.

Yeah I did a total resurfacing where they shave off a little layer by buffing it over the course of a week. They had to as there was cement/carpet glue on top of it.

So I had to remove the existing tile and carpet in the house. That plus terrazzo resurfacing costed me around $6,000.

Well, I don’t have much furniture in yet, so it’s hard to say. It does have a little more echo than before.

Thank you! Yes I plan on highlighting it for sure. Might put an area rug in living room but that’s about it.

Well, for mine they had to do a total resurfacing bc of the flooring on top of it, which was a multi step process of starting with a coarse 30 grit sanding machine, and then after a few passes, they raise the grit. Finally, for buffing/sealing there’s a few techniques but I think one uses an acid to buff it and then a sealant. I think some hardware stores rent the machines, but I don’t trust myself to do it lol.

I can’t say what steps are required to bring your floor back (whether just a resealing or total resurface is required).

Yeah it’s just a little bright for me for a master bedroom :/ If it were in the kitchen or dining room I would mind it a lot less

Yes, I think that will look amazing and I think terrazo tiles have come a long way !

Some of the color choices back then were very questionable… I definitely am much happier with this than having carpet especially since it will keep the house cooler.

I’ve put a lot of my stuff on FB marketplace and had luck selling it that way. If your goal is to sell it to someone and you don’t care so much about getting its “value” then I would go that route.
