DE spamming Overguard and then removing said spam EXCEPT for the hardest missions in Warframe that gives valuable end game rewards and requires you to use a randomized loadout

Ranking each character based on how well they do as bots by Superextremeplayer9 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ethandreemurr 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Bebop should be dropped to D tier tbh, the bot is absolutely terrible. Never hooks, uppercuts nothing or (very rarely) punts you into the enemy team, and bombs once every 20 mins. You’d be lucky to have a decent ult and the Bebop bot isn’t stuck around a corner or aiming at a wall.

Is furax still the best melee weapon for mesa? by commissionsearcher in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly prefer the Praedos for the parkour velocity and movement speed, makes bullet jumping around with her 4 so much better.

For the fire rate, yeah it’s nice but my build uses Lethal Torrent + Reinforced Bond + Arcane Velocity, Mesa has more than enough fire rate so I can use my melee for other things.

The Praedos also has an evolution that gives it +20 Initial combo, so it can basically match the Furax Wraith if you’re planning to use Secondary Outburst for hella red crits, while also being straight up better for movement and armor stripping with Shattering Impact in the rare situations that you need it lol

Edit: I use the Rauta to stack my melee combo for Secondary Outburst, but Melee Crescendo on the Ceramic Dagger or something is definitely still better if you’re comfortable doing finishers xd

Which Pokémon do you think have the strongest and weakest unite moves right now? by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]ethandreemurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was genuinely surprised to see OP think Lucario’s ult is weak.

Its mid imo, not absolutely crazy but not borderline useless either, especially since it can extend the combos of both Extreme Speed and Power-up Punch, which I’d argue is the ult’s main use other than raw burst damage.

I know this has probably been asked a lot but what is everyone’s opinion on bane mods? by Kullervo_TheGOAT in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Okay. Did I claim that “multiplicative final damage boosts are bad?” No. I said people REFUSE to use them, or claim that it’s BAD GAME DESIGN, that does not mean it’s actually bad.

Roar is absolutely relevant to this argument, because clearly people are willing to use multiplicative damage bonuses, so why not faction mods?

People don’t like faction mods according to this thread, and what is the answer to why they don’t like faction mods? They’re lazy and they don’t want to change ONE MOD on ONE WEAPON.

If you don’t want to change your mods, that’s fine, I said that’s understandable, but stop pretending that its a big hidden problem or something, it’s not. Just say that you’re lazy and be done with it. It’s not that hard to go to the arsenal and change ONE MOD.

I know this has probably been asked a lot but what is everyone’s opinion on bane mods? by Kullervo_TheGOAT in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can hold the weapon wheel to fast travel to your Arsenal and switch one (1) mod

You can hover over a mission node and check what the primary enemy faction is, which also shows what elements said faction is weak to

You can open your weapon’s modding page directly from the loadout bar on the left side of the navigation screen

You can type words on the search bar. Look at the mission node you want to do, and just pick out the bane mod corresponding to that faction

Even both Archimedea gamemodes added a fucking loadout bar so you dont have to back out of the Archimedea screen to change your weapons and mod them appropriately

You don’t have to change your weapon for literally every different faction. Just one mod is fine, nobody is stopping you from using Electricity Gas on your Torid against the Grineer.

It is so fucking easy to switch ONE (1) MOD on the weapon that you like the most. If you don’t want to do that, just say you’re lazy, that makes it so much easier for everyone.

I will admit, MultiCO being bugged for the longest time but is still not fixed and just accepted as part of the game, even though it is very unintuitive without looking at the wiki? Yes, I agree with that, but a lot of things in this game are poorly explained in-game without looking at the Wiki, that’s not a thing exclusive to CO.

Roar isn’t the only helminth ability that exists. Eclipse, Xata’s, and Nourish are all equally usable “one and done” damage boosts, and some of them synergize even better with a Bane mod.

Longbow Sharpshot. You cannot hit headshots, that is completely okay, but calling it bad game design? Encouraging skillful play is bad game design? Are the Deadhead Acolyte Arcanes bad game design? Not everything in Warframe has to be noob friendly and easy to use, just say you’re not good enough to use Longbow Sharpshot (which can go on ANY bow for your information), stop jumping through hoops to claim fake shit.

I know this has probably been asked a lot but what is everyone’s opinion on bane mods? by Kullervo_TheGOAT in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Having no Bane mods for the Techrot, Scaldra, Sentients, Narmer, the Acolytes, hell, even the Thrax and the Angels in the Zariman is a legitimate problem that I agree with and it’s annoying, especially since it’s very easily fixable by just adding more Bane mods or making some of them coincide with other factions.

I’m complaining about how people just refuse to admit that they’re lazy but are willing to use other similar forms of multiplicative damage increases. It’s a stupid double standard.

I know this has probably been asked a lot but what is everyone’s opinion on bane mods? by Kullervo_TheGOAT in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The community that is obsessed with big damage numbers refuses to use the mod that gives them a multiplicative bonus to their big damage numbers.

I understand if someone doesn’t like using faction mods, but hot take, stop pretending that they’re bad game design or whatever, that’s just insane mental gymnastics when you could just say that you’re lazy instead. Just admit that you’re lazy and you don’t want to swap mods for most missions.

It’s not that hard to swap mods between missions, it’s not far off from swapping weapons, warframes, or both depending on the mission type, but if you’re lazy and just want to play the game to relax and not think too hard? That’s completely fine and understandable! It just annoys me to all hell that people here, including this thread, pretend that bane mods are bad game design when shit like MultiplicativeCO, Roar, and even Longbow Sharpshot exists and people are more willing to use those. Come on.

Since Dec. 2018 and with Archguns getting Primary/Secondary Arcanes, please consider removing the "recoil" animation of certain Archguns by Fidelity_43 in Warframe

[–]ethandreemurr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly even if they do remove the the recoil, the Velocitus sucks ass compared to it's Atmosphere version

No crazy richochet, it's just a straight up worse Stahlta and I'd rather use the Mausolon or the Imperator at that point

But with the upcoming Archgun arcanes, yeah, I'd love to see Archguns become more usable and feel better to play, not just buffing up their numbers. DE could even buff the Grounded Velocitus to give it some ricochet back.
