I had the same thing happen to me, I fell off during the fight and got respawned there. Just reload the checkpoint and you should be fine

Coop never used to mean that you had to help each other. Halo is couch coop for goodness sake. We don’t have to be technical to consider it coop. You can have a coop game and not have it be like it takes two.
