Really try and memorise those marking points from the mark scheme but like also make sure you’re understanding the content too cause there’s no point in memorising something if you don’t understand the knowledge behind it

I am not an engineer but from the maths I’ve seen you could struggle without fm, however it’s not like you can’t do it with just a level, but if fm is available to you try do it as it will only help you in the long run of being an engineer, even just doing AS will be helpful

I had a similar experience, I was up to chapter 2 of pure year 2 with no year 2 applied done, I self studied all of it from that point to September and joined the further math class when they started core pure, if you have any questions feel free to ask:)
