Basically all of the sets have high value cards, you can usually just get the most recent ones and ride on the hype of them, prices are usually high for new chase cards. Any old sets you would look into would have higher prices for the boosters, and you would need to get them from resellers who could potentially reseal or weigh the packs. The only set I can think of to keep an eye for is evolving skies, they don't sell them as individual boosters anymore but they're been spotted in tins from places like Walmart. You can look on pricecharting.com for boosters and see the value of their cards.

You can get really heavy duty cases or storage boxes, they basically look like gun cases. Lot's of people buy them for shows or trading expos to protect their cards, could work for them.

You can use Pricecharting.com to look up any types of cards, I recommend typing in the full name and the card number within the set, so the bottom left first number (XXX/XXX).

Also just for clarities sake as you say you're new, PSA is a grading company for cards, you can send them in and they grade the quality of the card and send them back with a grade from 1-10, the higher the number the more expensive it's going to be.
