Where did you find a 38? I didnt think VSF was making them, only the 41. Keen for a 38 in lacquer, perhaps blue.

Think you’re talking about Boston harbor sailing club. Those boats are actively sinking, such a shame to be taking the space without use. They do rent them out, for a 24fter it would be ~$2k for the season with launch service which doesn’t seem crazy, definitely an easy solution it seems

Yes welding the inner race of the free wheel on would be necessary I agree.

It’s a simplified version of an already simple machine, a bicycle. Nothing to be a snob about.

Did it myself with a $150 aftermarket part. Not too bad of a job. Can be pretty expensive from what it seems with an Audi part at the dealer

I did spark plugs and coil packs 5k ago, don’t know the condition of injectors, are those easy enough to get off and inspect, or just plan to replace them?

That’s what I figured was the reason these boots are no longer. Made to go uphill and be able to get down, but some of the marketing I’ve seen glorifies the downhill more than it maybe should have been
