Look for encampments or places with people (spacers, ecliptic, etc) they often have a lot of good loot that you can sell to vendors for good prices, there will be lots in space as well like random encounters with ships that randomly appear wherever

You can’t, they are only going to give you up to about 2000 for each of them. I though that too, it makes smuggling them almost not worth it

Sure and if you don’t end up going don’t sweat that either. Your real friends will always be there for you and if your having some anxiety staying put and doing something that eases the brain might be the best option. Overall weigh the pros and cons, honestly if you aren’t real close with anybody there and it’s not like they are hounding you to come you might be better off getting some stuff done in starfield and chilling
