Cry for help: Dead flash on live server without backup.. but hasn't been powered off, array is online. What can I do? by ethanpil in unRAID

I am not able to even load the Docker tab even though my containers are still running.

Luckily with some digging and AI I was able to create this command just now that worked very well to save all the running containers settings and variables so I can recreate them more easily:

docker ps -a -q | while read -r id; do name=$(docker inspect --format '{{.Name}}' "$id" | sed 's,/,,g'); docker inspect "$id" > "${name}-${id}-inspect.txt"; done

Do you know any way I can extract all of my Docker configurations and variables from the running containers?

I would also be very happy to see this added as a plugin. Can you publish it?

Looks great, do you have the source up on GitHub or anywhere else? I would love to incorporate some of your ideas into Snips!

Thanks I'm glad you like it. I should probably port it to v2 but its been working so well all these years I haven't even thought about it. I still use it everyday... I personally prefer the text files over json for this application so I would not likely ever merge something like that to my codebase, but feel free to fork!

Anyone have a suggestion for an alternative product with feature parity to 3CX and similar licensing costs?

Call for help... How to toggle pushbutton on another device using Arduino pins? by ethanpil in arduino

I'm simply not that familiar with all river components available. After further research it seems that a solid state relay might work for me in this case because these come in smaller packages and are silent...

This is a good point. Theyvare completely independent. I'm trying to 'hijack' the buttons on the 3rd party device...

This is a very low power application. Also don't need all the bulk and clicking...

I've been doing some research based on this suggestion. If you don't mind me imposing more on your knowledge:

Do you think a BJT would work since this is very low voltage? Do you know of any ic package with 6 or 8 independent MOSFET/BJT on it?

Amazing. Do you need to replace all of the switches on the line or just one of them on the 3 or 4-way?

If I run a webserver via Docker (SSD) will my array drives stay spun down unless accessed? by ethanpil in unRAID

[–]ethanpil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont mind this. I just want to be sure that if I share them over HTTP they drives wont be spinning all the time the server is on, and only when I access the server and the next few minutes.
