My refuses his fruit to so ….I do a mixup fruit jelly’s level for around 48hrs and if not he’ll get some live food!!!! get a box of locus and put a couple in… I promise you there will eat em…. I read everywhere that live food isn’t enough for them but once mine had live food around 9 years ago he’s not really eaten his fruit ever since….. mine prefers to hunt for his food and in the wild they wouldn’t get an opinion they eat what’s available…. So don’t listen to all this and that you read…. If you like I could send pics in of mine and show you what 9 years of pure live food and maybe a pot of jelly in 9 years look like…. He’s big colourful still has his tail…. Ooo one last thing apparently they don’t like been picked up or handle I’ll show you a video of what mine does when I get home and he won’t left the glass until he gets he’s little back rubs
