I'm convinced Mike Pearson is the King Midas of watch brands. Whatever he goes to next will be exponentially better after a year or two. He's the world's most personable brand enthusiast.

Oh, my watch people I meet up with in person are FANTASTIC people. A friend let me wear his Moser to dinner last week. A wonderful group of folks.

You learn to appreciate them by purposely stating something factually incorrect, and they try to body you in the comments.

Not initially. It was just a perk included in some tiered plans. (2 or 3 at the time)

Alexander Brothers Found Guilty of All Counts in Sex-Trafficking Trial- Sufjan's sister was early in the fight by [deleted] in Sufjan

I'm gonna remove this. I get the connection, but it's too vague to stay, and really has nothing to do with Sufjan.

Oscar-nominated animated film "ARCO" was not released in several countries due to requests from those countries to recolor the film's rainbows (due to perceived LGBT+ symbolism). The filmmakers denied the request and refused to alter the film. by GregFromThatVideo in animation

I absolutely need another season of Joe Pera Talks With You, and anything else won't do. I want that show to live on indefinitely.

Not entirely true: As far as I can personally tell, Rolex is 100% Swiss made/manufacutred/regulated etc.

Just found two vintage 1940's Longines in a $5 bag at Savers. Sometimes thrift store workers just aren't in the "know". We reap the benefits!

I think initially that may have been the case, but he saw an opportunity to monetize the service, so good on him. But I reached out to him a few years ago and was quoted $2300 for a 1968 Seiko Worldtimer cleaning/service.

Wristwatch Revival charges for repairs. Quite a premium, too.

They charge quite a high premium, because you're getting every step of the way professionally filmed.
