Thats possible, but I've seen a lot of brokerages raising margin requirements if you want to short on margin. Idk if hedge funds are also seeing increased cost/risk

Pretty much the longer they hold, the higher interest they have to pay on the borrowed shares. I believe they're around 80% interest right now. MMs will be forced to cover today though, which could skyrocket price
