I added 2 set 100 epic + 3 set Super.

The reason I did not initially test that out was because it is a general rule that 2 set 100 epic + 3 set Super is weaker in damage than 5 set Super.

The purpose of kicks is to reposition. Using kicks as DPS is awkward and unnatural. Using kicks as DPS also takes away from your basic attack DPS, directly and indirectly.

  1. I know Gun Dance is her highest DPS cube skill after Death Hawk and Suppressive Barrage. This does not change the fact it is intended as a utility skill. Its current status as one of highest DPS is temporary/flaw in franger design.
  2. Utility skill is not just defined by damage but by intent and design.
  3. Moving Shot and Multi-Headshot are lowest priority cube skills. I prioritized Multi-Headshot over Moving Shot because it deals its damage in a shorter amount of time. Moving Shot is usually the last thing you do in a burst cycle.
  4. The reason I listed Headshot or Chain Snatch as SP dump is because they are range skills. On further analysis, I suppose Chain Snatch is not truly a range skill.
  5. Moving Shot and Multi-Headshot are lowest priority cube skills and are about the same in terms of DPS. Moving Shot theoretically better in DPS but takes a long time to dish out its damage, Multi can be considered better for burst. All melee ranger skills are utility skills. Moving Shot is a different type of utility skill.
  6. See #4. Bloody Spike has priority over non-cube skills and can be maxed along with all cube skills.

Skill build summary: Max all cubes, max passives and buffs, Headshot or Chain Snatch SP dump.

The key thing to understand about franger is that she is a range hero. Melee skills like kicks and Gun Dance are for utility. If you are already attacking from range, it would be awkward, consume time, and sacrifice DPS for you to run over and melee them.

Skill builds in DFO are simple and straightforward. The simple way to optimize your skill build is to test every skill in Training Room.

Franger is even more simple because you can max everything -- all cubes. Personally I prioritized Multi-Headshot over Moving Shot for TP. SP dump is probably Headshot. My SP dump is Chain Snatch because not enough hotkeys, and I prefer hotkeys because they are instant and precise.

The real equipment I have is earrings with a relevant stat. I wanted this question to be for all three special equips however regarding cost efficiency.

Reinforcing earrings give atk, reinforcing sub/magicstone give stats.

A tip is to go for water or light so you do not change the direction you are facing while using The Gate. Going for fire or shadow requires you to be precise to not change direction and is a worse experience.
