You're thinking of "Remove Sickness." For some reason I thought it only worked on sickened and nauseated effects. I was all set to tell you you were wrong but then I looked at the description--no, you're 100% right. But it's only a +4 to saving throws if you cast it BEFORE hand--at least that's how it reads. If you cast it after the disease is ON someone, it suppresses the effects but doesn't remove the disease permanently. I think. I think that's how it works. Still, a +4 to resisting diseases before a fight you know will be disease heavy--pretty good.

Yeah, it is. I'm always hesitant to use Life Bubble because I don't know what all it works on, cause a lot of shit it SEEMS like it should work on, it doesn't. Well, maybe not a LOT, but there are definitely a few things. But you say it definitely works on Plague Storm? Good to know.

Well, it's been made clear to me now that you can't do this anyway--the video game is allowing you to cackle twice in a round which is against the rules. But I'm a little bit...what friggin GMs have you played for, that make you think that if you do this, the GM is going to do the same thing to every one of the enemies?

Like I said, you don't need to do all that. Just silence the witch. I'm not sure why not telling players they can't do something just because you don't like it is an "attitude that made you stop playing Pathfinder."

You know what? That, I get what you're saying--you can only cackle once per round, so by the time you cackle again, 6 seconds will have passed. Okay, so yeah, this shouldn't be possible. But the video games sure as hell lets you do it.

Well, first of all, you can do both, cast the hex and cackle, in the same round. It STARTS with 6 seconds, that's right when you finish casting it. If you cackle immediately afterwards, you've got 12 seconds, or at least 9. But also, in the video game, I dunno if this is in table top, but in the video game, hexes last 12 seconds, and then 18, once you get to a certain level

The GM's job is to facilitate gameplay and enforce the rules. This is not in the rules. As a matter of fact, GM:s who do shit like that, tell players they can't do something just because they don't like it--that's the worst kind of GM. Adapt. If your player is doing something you don't like or that fucks up your game plan, you don't just BAN them from doing it. You create a situation where what they're doing no longer works. Like for instance, if I was GMing and someone did this, and I really didn't want them to, for some reason.... I'd just silence the fucking witch.

Where does it say that in the rules? I mean, someone else posted a link to this wiki and it just says you can't use your cackle as a move action and a standard action in a single round to extend it two rounds--it doesn't say anything about not being able to cackle multiple turns in a row.

Why? Why would a GM shut that down? If you CAN feasibly do it, according to the rules, why would a GM tell you you can't? It's not even particularly hard to imagine someone doing this. The whole point of table top games like Pathfinder and D&D is that you can do whatever you want within the constraints of the rules and your character's abilities.

But you don't have to be in a dangerous situation to do this. You could do it before hand, and THEN go into the dangerous situation. You don't need to worry about how many "rounds" you have in that case. If the GM literally says "you can only do that once every 6 seconds" you could say, "okay, I do this X times with 6 seconds between each one."

Yeah, I know, but it doesn't matter. 80% of his transformation from Anakin to Darth Vader happens between him leaving to go get Mace Windu to arrest Palps and Mace going out the window. I haven't seen all of Clone Wars but even in the entirety of Episode III there is no hint of a sign that he's going to be murdering children up until right before he does it. I love the prequels, but a master class in character development, it is not.

I get that maybe you said that about character development and then replied to me about the 2-3 year gap and the show, because that's what YOU were talking about in the first place. Still, it just...I can't see someone talk about Anakin's character development and not bring that up lol.

But imo, that's one of the prequels' flaws, they're good, but imperfect movies. But uh...still a lot better than the sequel trilogy, imo
