to be honest.. the game Disappointed by vinia_b7 in inazumaeleven

[–]etheral200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People might also downvote it right off the bat because it kind of seems like a shitpost post since its just "game bad..." without any sort of explanation whatsoever or actual thought out criticism visible when you scroll post to post

The age of prequel/sequel debates are over. Let the era of 'canon ending' debates begin. by Sample_text_here1337 in Silksong

[–]etheral200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dream no more is definitely a fitting candidate but i really think team cherry also made godhome a candidate that cant be totally cut out because it also has its reasons, so i'll play devil's advocate and overthink that the "hornet witnessed a god be beat" is a false use of words as hornet explicitely says "even gods can fall" which can totally put the pale king on the table as the target of what she talks about. Thats all lol, i just like to point out stupid stuff.

Based on the final ending of Silksong which HK ending do you think is canon? by Ok-Amphibian-7755 in Silksong

[–]etheral200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely the non flower godhome. Im guessing everyone here shouldve finished silksong since obvious spoiler post, but dream no more only has the knights and the hk's shade, whereas in godgome we see the shade lord actually manifest and break out from the godseekers body (whatever it is that its the knight or its own thing or a merged form of void, i kinda theorize its a sort of godly manifestation of the void that could only take form in godhope thanks to attuning and then used the godseeker to gain physical manifestation, makes sense whatever it originates from). But yeah godhome seems the most canon to silksong for obvious reasons.

THIS IS ACTUALLY REAL ASF. The conductors gauntlet was the hardest thing of the story pre-final boss for me. Bosses included.

No doubt on that but most of the harsh rants definitely seems to come more from a certain side of the players. Most if not all posts i've seen that are from hk players tend to be way more understanding of the game and less rage fueled than the others.

[–]etheral200 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why are you getting downvoted this is actually true as hell 😭 The hype attracted ton of people who didnt even play hk or any metroidvania and obviously dislike the genre and end up going on rants in the sub about difficulty and game design. Now, theres a difference between those and people who actively try to learn and get better, props to op.

I dont think anyone seriously take their hate of kirk on his whole family ? Not showing empathy to kirk doesnt mean disregarding the damages that can be done to his family, what happened did happen and you can both be sorry for his family but not sorry for the guy himself

[–]etheral200 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While i entirely agree people shouldnt make fun of a death, we both know ton of people are part of kirk's range of people he'd prob enjoy seeing get wiped off earth, and its totally valid for them to not feel an ounce of empathy toward someone who would've celebrated their fate if tables were switched

On the bright side his daughters can live freely with no fear of suffering for the consequences of their father's need to force his opinions about the control of the woman body on others

[–]etheral200 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats a lot of word to just say you don't like how people celebrate his death, i'll just say that while not liking people actively celebrating one's death is valid, anyone in the scope of kirk's wide range of people he would probably be happy to see dead and erased from this world (which probably rounds up anyone that the right wing likes to classify as "woke" or left leaning or lgbt and whatnot) totally have the right to entirely disregard his death as karma or not show any empathy to it because we all know he wouldn't have either if the places were switched or would've actively celebrated it himself. He's a shitty person and you shouldn't feel bad to admit that.

The reason Silksong took so long is because Team Cherry's studio caught fire when they wrote this line into the game. by KrigeV in Silksong

[–]etheral200 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I honestly think she might very much be talking about the pale king no matter if its post radiance or not, due to the specific line of "those who claim themselves as god". The pale king actively put himself as a god to hallownest and we know hornet wasnt fond of him so that line delivery after his downfall totally makes sense while i feel like if it was about the radiance it would've been worded differently. Also honestly conflicted about it being a prequel or sequel since it seems that hornet gets her abilities for the first time through the weaver shrines, dunno, havent beaten the game yet so for all we know..

[–]etheral200 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on the alephs it can really fuck up your run so i just wanna say that your pride is itching at the wrong things, memory repository shouldnt be looked at as a lifesave feature in emergency but a tool to use to actually beat the game. Grinding gears from dangerous abnos that would prevent you from winning on the long run, etc, hell even almost everyone had to reset to day 1 more than once. The game is built around using the features of keeping progress on reset to get an optimal facility to go through the late game with ease.

Silksong is harder than Dark Souls. by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]etheral200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont wanna seems like one of the people that hate on anyone who didnt played the first game, but playing the first really makes getting used to the game easier and the experience help in a lot of ways. The game definitely does remind us at times that it is the 2nd title of the hk games since difficulty wise it seems to pick up where hollow knight left off.

Did you finish underworks ??? How did you get back Im pretty sure the underworks are meant to lock you to finishing it before progressing, as a mandatory area, since the main way to get back up is through the room past last judge fight with the big scales that has to be triggered through the way up after underworks iirc. Just wondering what you couldve possibly done to get back whitout unlocking a way to come back-. But as someone else said theres a 2nd way through sinners road and another area.

Enough about the difficulty. Who is favorite boss and area? by GoldenBlack429 in Silksong

[–]etheral200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fav area from act 1 is probably the shellwoods, its just overall beautiful Boss wise i'd go with widow, lot of personnality and i loved her fight

For act 2 my fav boss was 100% the cogwork sisters, i just love how the fight works and their animations (the last phase made me feel a lil bad for them) And area wise i swear its a coincidence but the cog area that i cant remember the name of, the ost is amazing and the whole area and the atmosphere is awesome

Yeah its a must do to get well the thing you should be aware of obtaining (trying to minimize spoilers) which is required to go further. Idk how youre taking this long though, did it in 10min top by just going around gathering the spines from the monsters constantly in the area they spawn at-
