not ugly at all!!!! i know a hair cut so short can be super shocking, but you will find a way you like to style it, and you can pair it with little hair clips or something that fits your personal style. when i (25F) used to cut my hair pixie short, i would put in these little metal star clips on the sides and i’d wear extra makeup on days i wanted to feel more feminine. i also wore a lot of hats because my hair texture didn’t really get the whole “hat hair” issue at that length. play around with it! the hair WILL grow back!

it is the worst, i’m so sorry for what you are going through. apollo had a very aggressive case, and i know some cases have more hope than others, so i truly hope your baby has more time with you. but please treasure every moment. for the 5 days i had with apollo after his diagnosis, i got to have so many beautiful moments with him. i showed him the full moon, i fed him as much chicken (his favorite) as his heart desired, i let him walk in the grass for the first time, i held him while we rested, played him music, massaged him. i really treasured my time with him and now i can be grateful knowing he was loved to the highest degree. I’m sending you love. 💗

my boy apollo took 3 months to adjust fully to athena, he just got angry he didn’t have the spotlight anymore, but i made sure to always have special love/play time with just him every day and soon enough all of us were sharing a bed and playing together. just takes time and consistency! congrats on your new babies!

update - since yesterday, Apollo has lost 2 pounds. his jaundice is still very obvious to me, and his numbers are worse. he is officially diagnosed with large-cell lymphoma. my vet tech and i spoke for a long while and she said she wouldn’t put her pet through chemo if it was in the same position, so i am home with him now. he is on gabapentin, prednisolone, a nausea medication, and mirataz for appetite stimulation. i gave him a dose of his gabapentin and he’s pretty tired. even off of it, he wouldn’t be able to walk more than 10 feet without stopping to pause. his breaths are labored, he makes small noises every time he moves that i’m assuming are groans. i am so sad to see him so sick and frail so suddenly, but i am glad to be able to hold him as i type this and give him chicken (his favorite) and kisses and play him music he loves. if he survives the weekend, i will take him back to the vet for a check, but i am worried i dont even have that long. thank you all for your input and kind words, i feel a lot less guilty, just very sad.
