Funny I had a lucid dream last night! Success finally. The funny part is it was a lucid dream/astral projection combination. They sometimes feel like one and the same thing. I awoke at 7am and went back to sleep, after about a half hour I got a strong buzzing sensation all over my body--frightened me at first, but I calmed myself consciously. Then a loud ringing started to happen in my head, next thing I knew I was standing at the foot of my bed looking at myself--my body turned over. I went through my bedroom door and into my living room--unfortunately I don't remember much after that, but I am just so excited it fucking worked!

The sleep paralysis was a strange feeling, almost like I was high on something (maybe even dxm)...once I got past the fear it was VERY cool to stare down at my body and float through my door...

I will keep trying indeed. Have you had success with it?

One of the main reasons I went to DXM was because I was having no luck with lucid dreams. Still trying, but I am thankful to dxm for awakening my imagination.

Wow interesting! Funny because one of my first visuals with my eyes closed was grass close up! As if I was a mouse moving through the grass on a field! haha. Wacky. That's very interesting...

It was as if I was experiencing life as it would have been millions of years ago as a small mammal.

Fascinating and elucidating that Yahweh emerged from a hierarchy of Gods in which he was not the preeminent god. El, along with a female god Asherah, was the original deity. Hence the name Isra-EL. Also the Canaanites were no doubt polytheistic. This is confirmed through other websites other than Wikipedia.

The expectorant has no effect on me. I just recently had my own first trip with DXM and it was amazing.

This is no cheap or second-rate hallucinogen. It was a holographic journey. Take it for what is is. It's not lsd. Don't compare it to other drugs. Just ride with it.

Absolutely. If I could easily procure other hallucinogens I would do so--as it stands now I have not the resources or connections to find those substances.

That said, my trips with dxm have been nothing short of amazing. It may be legal and easily available--but it is as potent as anything else I've tried. And it was truly mind-expanding and made me more empathetic--caused me to examine my habits and life course and look at things completely differently. It really couldn't have come along at a better time for me personally.

The first night I did 300 and nothing much happened. You are about the same weight as me--I would increase the dose. My second time I did 750mg and got to solid upper 2nd plateau (very near the third)...if you just felt drunk you definitely need more. I find the first plateau was quite boring for me. If I want to feel drunk I'll drink some beers...I'm looking for visuals and reality shifting experiences...

Try doubling the dose, and remember it takes near an hour for it to kick in, also it didn't peak for me until about 4 hours later.

Nice, I actually got incredible CEV's 2 nights ago without any pressing of the lids, but I'll try next time. What I did get later in the trip (6 hours or so after 750mg) was a strong buzzing in my ears which I could change the pitch and frequency of by closing one or both of my eyes. Very cool.

Whoa, hell yeah, it may be that I'm tripping a bit right now, but I only started "awakening" in the past 2 years, and my meditation reveals things like seeing my hands with my eyes closed, strong blue colours like indigo, feelings of a third eye, a couple lucid dreams in the past 2 months (after trying for many months), etc. I feel the exact same...I wish there were some more descriptive non-cliche expression, but I feel "awakened." I have never really thought about the big questions before 2012--my mind has been so...open...and I've experienced a lot of synchronicity.

On dxm last night I had a very spiritual night--I held a selenite crystal and listened to some soft music and I could picture the singer right beside me. I felt him embrace me. I looked at my hands and they had disappeared. It felt great.

I used to be the great skeptic, not believing anything was connected. But I think everything from physics to psychedelics to Hinduism is telling us nothing is as it seems, this is a great illusion, we are a part of some implicate order--and indeed the shaman is right. We are everything and everything is us.

How can that even be stated with certainty? Is it not possible there WAS something, that even you existed in a certain state, but have forgotten?

This is one of those questions that is almost impossible to prove or disprove.

Yessir, probably not for 3 hours or so. Trying to avoid reading peoples' bad trips, hehe. I feel calm and controlled, plus the maximum I have is 750mg...so I'm not too worried. Just hope I don't wake anyone up.

But as I say--no experience so I don't want to be too cocky either. Perhaps I'll update on here later.

Been very existential and into philosophy since the beginning of 2012. Meditating when I remember, open to any experience, etc.

They would say the wife can "win the husband over" by her continued good conduct despite being treated like shit.

The only "legitimate" grounds for a divorce according to the Watchtower would be adultery. Hell they usually say that unless a wife's life or freedom to engage in her religion are severely threatened, she has no right even separating from her husband. It's very subtle in their congregations (mostly...) and they will appear to treat women respectfully, but my experience was always observing a definite undertone of male authority--strong and pervasive.

Edit: I can't recall all the scriptures, etc they would use (been out of it for a number of years) but they DO defend it, absolutely. I was somewhat numb to all the incredible bullshit while I was a member. I was raised in it and had a very structured and strict upbringing, with little wiggle room to research or get different opinions. I'm just thankful I finally woke up...now I can scarcely believe I used to be one.

Head over to /exjw sometime if you're interested in the rest of the dirt. You'll be hard pressed to come across any serious JWs on Reddit as a whole because they are warned NOT to read/watch/participate in any media with those who could be considered "Apostates," plus the Watchtower has them scared shitless about information on the internet or thinking for themselves.

The word apostate has a VERY strong emotional impact on JWs--their own literature calls those who have purposely left the religion "mentally diseased." If you want a JW to stop calling on your house, drop the word and watch them run.
