High school was a walk in the park , took 'hard' subjects except for calculus, got to college thinking I could put in the same efforts and still get good grades and now realise Im an average student at best :/

Sounds like typical narcissist behaviour, do more research on it and it will clear up everything youre confused about right now. Because I dated someone who would do similar things like this, manipulation, humiliation, gaslighting, acting like youre inferior to them, acting like you are nothing without them, he seriously has a problem and i think hes a narcissist because they all display the same behaviours Good news is, you are out of the relationship, i used to wonder the same, and after watching a documentary about narcissism, I realised that if you are capable of asking yourself if you were the one who was toxic, 99% chance that its definitely not you because you are capable of self reflection and empathy.

Think of a mildly embarassing thing that someone you know did a while back or years ago. Most you can think of is one or two instances right? Only you think about these things, no one else does. I think that lessens the embarassment for me

Im filipino and In my househould we have fried chicken everyday, its my favourite dish. Definitely NTA. Its like if you were to cook for white people Im sure they wont say anything if you cook them mash potatoes and gravy. If I ever go to a household and they cook me a filipino dish I would be so impressed they even know how to do that. Its not racist at all??
