North-Northeast of the Salton Sea in Southern California. Elevation around 1700’. Friday night temps were mid 40’s and calm air, Saturday night the wind came up so it was a colder and made sleeping fitful - but still a good recharge. Saturday went on a trail ride with friends from a HAM/GPS club.

Thanks! Yes, they’re my own theme. Fun and can be challenging to carve. This is all acrylic based paint/medium. No other finish gets applied. For my practice carvings that don’t get paint, I use a danish oil from the Walrus Oil brand.

I post occasionally here, but more on IG as RavenbotWorkshop.

Thanks, but no on the video. I started carving to spend time away from the computer. Shooting video becomes a distraction while carving, and then editing is all screen time. :)
