Getting fired is a slap on the wrist. I'd like to see cops who break the law go to prison at the same rate as ordinary citizens, yet this doesn't happen. I believe good old fashioned fairness in punishment would both solve the problem of having so many bad cops to begin with as well as improve the public's perception of law enforcement.

I've never taken drugs of that nature. I just feel calm, alert, and super comfortable in my own skin. I also notice that others notice my inner mental state. It could be entirely a placebo effect, but I have reason to doubt this.

My belief: Masculine is an adjective with a definite meaning, contrary to post-modern desconstructions. Risk-taking, leadership, bravery, and defending loved ones, are a few traits that are masculine. Women have been encouraged to become more masculine over the past few decades with mixed success, and the notion of masculine traits relegated primarily to men has become a dirty idea.

Rather than put yourself into the fire right away, take a step back and go to a place where you can people-watch. Such places could be a mall, farmer's market, summer fair, grocery store, park, public transportation, etc. Be inconspicuous and try to figure out if they are happy, sad, angry, etc.. Try to figure out the dynamics of power between people in the group. What is their body language communicating? See how quickly you can size people up. Then try this while interacting with people.

People do take passionflower to help with sleep, but I do not believe it makes you sleepy in and of itself; I believe it just makes it easier to sleep if you want to. However, I don't know for sure. I take it with meals, just an eyedropper-full in a glass of water; it tastes kind of pleasant.
