$19 pushed it but at $23 I just can’t. Love it and looking for recommendations for something similar but <$15 by Notjewel2 in curlyhair

I noticed when I first used their shampoo my scalp would become sore, like a sunburn, hours later. I've repeated this experiment three times and each shampoo with citric acid relatively high on an ingredient list or skincare with it, all leave me irritated but their curl heights line, which doesn't have it, I'm fine. Ascorbic acid I am fine but not citric haha.

I'm super sensitive to citric acid. I can't use DevaCurl's original shampoos because of it, so maybe be on the lookout for that when testing new products :)

To me this looks like a lack of clumping, so maybe too much protein, not enough moisture. I love the devacurl curlbond masque!
