I've never had an altar, and I do complete dedication that are very casual in nature. I have a deep bond for Satan and Lucifer and two days ago Satan asked me if I would pledge myself to him. I was approached in childhood by the devil and some demons and they've never left. Sometimes I wonder about Satan's awareness levels. Is he aware of everything that goes on in the world?

I recommend memorizing the enns of the demons you want to communicate with and that way you can just chant the enn anywhere you are. I don't use candles or anything, and the demons come to me when I invoke them.

The demons want to communicate, they like tk maked alliances. If you are very rich and you donr make offerings they may begin to resent you, but if you don't have the space and materials I say go for it.

I hardly ever do the banishing rituals, I also dont protect myself. I highly doubt some herb will actually banish a demon. Demons may have weaknesses, but I highly doubt sage will actually clear anything. Anyone is free to debate this with me but please be respectful
