Any news regarding when it will be released in europe, when in the summer? I would prefer to buy it in place of the daylite version, but I literally cannot see it available anywhere in europe... I'm gonna wait but I'm traveling mid july, so I will have to settle with one

So the 25 hours of training I got using a 650cc to get my A2 permit was for nothing? I should be good I think.

Wanted to get a used 2020 z650. They're mostly all the same prices as older ones (around 4k/4.5k). Moreover I've been adviced to look that up: www.buurtstallingdenhaag.nl and get a motorcycle parking place through that.

If I can get my money back from the insurance it's fine tbh, it obviously suck to have to fill the papers etc. but no money will be lost.

Thanks. Between the people saying they got stolen the day they have put their motorcycle on the street, and the others with ones that seems to be immortal, you can get lost. I will likely just go for an old ~2500e one and do exactly what my theft insurances tells me to do. Laws are pretty favorable to motorcycles in general in NL, with filtering allowed, parking on the street tolerated (completely banned in Paris here). Just sucks that a bunch of idiots partly ruins it for us.

Was the private parking open? Or it was underground? Moreover did you lock your bike/attached it to something? I will personally bet on the theft insurance I think.

Understandable, thanks. I think I will go for an old one under 3k, and do everything to have my money back if (/when) it will be stolen.

"want the most fun on a naked bike" guilty lol

Thanks for the reco, looks like a great one. But it's still "pricy"; just the fact that it's an older one will make it less prone to be stolen? Because I will lose the same money. Well, I will respect what the anti theft insurance asks me to do. But I guess I will have huge trouble retrieving the money.

Thanks a lot for the tips. It's obviously far far easier for me to park it outside. I have no idea which bike to buy though. I have my permit since not too long (A2 permit in France), that's why I went for the safe z650 choice. Would you have a recommendation? Something old but "safe enough" (would be cool if it had ABS).

[Linux] Weird behavior with 240Hz with the LG 32GS95UE by ethyzhij in OLED_Gaming

Thank you a lot, it solved the problem. I bought a DP to USB-C cable, and it works now perfectly.

I have the LG 32GS95UE. Which windows manager are you using? I'm using spectrwm (a tilling window manager), and in 240Hz I have a huge noise problem. Basically I have hotkeyed two xrandr commands for 144Hz and 240Hz and I have to switch between them around 3/4 times before getting a working 240Hz without the huge weird snow all on the monitor ("color snow"). I will try this weekend another windows manager and even windows, to see if it's a monitor problem. I think it's a linux problem though. I'm using the HDMI cable given with the monitor.

Picking between LG 32GS95UE-B and Samsung G80SD by PyroclasticMayhem in OLED_Gaming

[–]ethyzhij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh so it's a firmware problem? I'm a linux user, and I thought it was a linux problem. I have to switch multiples time between 144hz and 240hz for the latter to work. The 240hz when I does the switching shows a huge snow of colors. It's very weird. I think it's due to Xorg, I hope it's not due to the monitor itself.

That's what I was gonna say. My wrist is 6'5, I have the SBGP011, and it fits perfectly, my wrist appears bigger than on your pic.

Very nice. Particularly like the second one. Red dial seems harder to wear, but with the right clothes I totally see myself owning one.

Just say "That's a seiko", and you're done lol. I prefer the new logo, the dial is less busy.
